Ophelia Dumbledore is the only daughter of Dumbledore; after the death of his sister Ariana and the falling out with Grindelwald, he loved another. Unfortunately, while the woman was pregnant with Ophelia; she found out who Dumbledore was and the possibility of their child being a witch or warlock and this was something she could not handle.
After Ophelia was born; her mother disappeared leaving Albus to raise the child himself and in turn, she became a spectacular witch. It was at Hogwarts where he taught that Ophelia met Newt Scamander until he was expelled. From there she trained herself under her father's wing and grew. By the time she was 20, she became an employee at the Ministry of Magic as part of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures in the Beast Division. Her specialties were Dragons and Phoenixes and it was there in that Division she met Newt Scamander again.
