"That's everything, right?" Dad asks.

I nod putting my stuff in a bag. "Here they are." Melissa says walking in with a big stroller.

I get up to quick and grunt. "Woah, careful." Dad says.

I put my hand up. "I need to learn how to walk." I say.

"It's okay to take some time." Melissa says.

"No, I'm gotta walk. If I can't walk, then I can't fight." I say.

"You don't need to fight." Dad says.

I roll my eyes attempt to walk over to Melissa. "How about we just come to you?" She smiles.

"No, I can walk. I need to walk." I say.

"You need to take it slow. You've been stuck in a bed for three weeks. You're only just relearning how to walk." She says walking to me.

"I want to take care of them myself." I say.

"But you still need help. Not walking for three weeks has damaged your muscles. Weakened them. You can walk but you just need some help taking care of Talia and Vicky." She says helping me to sit on the bed.

I sigh and look at the stroller. "Can we just go home?" I ask dad.

He nods and we make our slow way home. The day goes by slow and i spend most of it with Talia in my arms and Vicky sleeping in her crib.

It's almost ten pm when my phone rings. "Hey." I whisper.

"Hey, how you doing?" Isaac asks over the FaceTime.

I look at Talia next me and smile not sitting up in the bed. "Talias sleeping and Vickys sleeping in her crib. Like she's been doing all day." I smile.

"How about walking? How's that going?" He asks.

"I've been laying down since 6 pm. But I've been trying to walk small things. Talias liking the bed so far. Vickys in love with her crib." I smile.

He smiles and looks at something. "Hey, where are you?" I ask.

"A motel. Motel California." He sighs.

I nod and look at Vickys crib across the room. "You wanna see Vicky?" I ask.

"Can you do that?" He asks.

I nod again and slowly get up grunting a little. "Don't forget the pillows around Talia." He says.

I look at her. "She's fine." I sigh walking over to Vicky.

I turn the camera on my phone. "She's sucking her thumb. Look." I smile moving her blanket a little.

Isaac smiles. "I did that as I kid. Just let her. It can help with nerves." He says taking a bite of a taco.

"So, I was thinking. Maybe I can come and get you." I say walking back to the bed.

"No, you need to go to bed." He says.

I sigh and get next to Talia. "I miss you." I say softly.

He looks at something again and I frown. "What's wrong?" I ask.

He fake smiles. "I'll see you tomorrow." He says before abruptly hanging up.

I look at my phone with open mouth. "Well, girls. Daddy just hung up on mummy." I sigh.

Vicky gives a weak and soft cry. "She wants to be hold." A girl in the doorway says.

I look up and without doubt recognize Cora. "Hey, little sister." She smiles.

I get up out of the bed and walk up to her. I hug her tightly. "I'm so sorry." She says as we both start crying.

"Why?" I ask pulling away.

"For never coming back for you." She says grabbing my head and wiping away my tears.

"You want to meet your nieces?" I ask.

She sniffs and lets out a laugh. "Yes, I would love that." She smiles.
