The natural world unfolded before me, painted in an array of vivid colors. The leaves on the trees had transformed from lush green to brilliant shades of gold, and scattered browns and reds adorned the carpet of grass.

Among them stood the evergreen trees, defiant and unafraid of the impending harsh winter. I sat on the bench, basking in the warmth of the steady sun while the cold wind served as a gentle warning of the approaching change in weather.

Autumn had arrived with grace, and now it was at its peak, showcasing its majestic beauty.

The park exuded tranquility, and I allowed my eyes to soak in every coated color, savoring the moment. The comfort of the bench embraced me, offering respite from the chilly breeze.

Nature's transformation served as a reminder that "winter was coming," but for now, I cherished the splendor of fall. My gaze wandered around the park, trying to capture every minute detail, preserving its beauty in the canvas of my mind.

With every breath of fresh air, I felt an invigorating sense of life coursing through me. My heart yearned to praise nature's artistry even more, but I had important work to complete today.

Opening the CAD software on my laptop, I delved into the task at hand – designing the resort garden. Over the past three days, I had crafted a rough 2D plan, and now it was time to elevate it to third dimension.

In the heart of my design, I sought to honor one of India's vanishing treasures – stone crafting. This ancient art, passed down through generations, was fading into obscurity. Skilled craftsmen once wielded hammers and chisels, carving intricate designs into stone with breathtaking precision.

Their legacy, however, was slowly slipping away, unnoticed and underappreciated. Amidst our infatuation with foreign architecture, we were neglecting our own rich cultural heritage. India boasted numerous landmarks and sites, adorned with exquisite designs, some renowned, and others still hidden from the spotlight.

I was determined to change that. Embracing the variety of stones available in India, my design revolved around giving these talented craftsmen a platform to showcase their artistry. I envisioned adding stone gazebos and arbors to the resort, offering them the chance to demonstrate their true talent.

My heart swelled with a sense of purpose and responsibility. It was not just about creating a beautiful landscape; it was about preserving a piece of history and breathing new life into an ancient craft. My fingers danced across the keyboard, channeling my passion and dedication into the design.

As I worked, I hoped that my efforts would serve as a catalyst, sparking a newfound appreciation for Indian craftsmanship and inspiring others to embrace their cultural heritage with pride.

My undivided attention was fixed on my work, oblivious to the presence of another person nearby. When I finally looked up, my eyes met his, and I immediately sensed the weight of unspoken questions in his intense stare.

The note Jeffrey had given me on his behalf was still crumpled inside my bag. I had read and reread those words countless times, searching for the right response.

His piercing stare made it clear that he wouldn't leave without getting his answers this time. But did I have them?

Honestly, I didn't. However, his determined demeanor left no room for the inevitable conversation.
