I've been fidgeting my hand on my study table in my room as I couldn't figure out the answers of my assignment in Calculus, I'm not pretty bad at it, it's just that I'm trying to find something in my head but I couldn't.

The dim sunset illuminate across the window of my room, and the dark clouds indicating that it will rain any time soon.

My parents and my little brother visited my grandparents, which mean I'm all alone with our two maids and the guard. They wanted me to come but my hectic school works says no.

I throw myself at my bed and stared at the ceiling, I could see Ms. Marcos' face and remember the moments with her I considered special.

"Stop it, Ariella." I muttered and closed my eyes trying to rest from everything that torturing the deepest being of me. A knock on the door made me get up and walk through the door.

"Ma'am Ariella, may bisita po kayo sa labas," Aling Emma said.

"Who?" I asked and narrow my eyebrows as I'm not expecting any visitors today, if it's Catherine and Margaret they will probably won't ask for permission.  Respectful right?

"Irene Marcos daw po, ma'am." I was shocked and wishing I just misheard it but I soon refrain myself and decided to be the one to welcome her. My heart started to raced and absentmindedly tuck my curly hair at the back of my ear while walking down the stairs.

As soon as I step outside, I signal to our guard to open the gate. And there she was, a woman standing with the illegible expression on her face.

"Ariella.." She almost whispered, I tilt my head to examine her face. "I--may I come in?" She stuttered and I gestured my hand to let her in. She walked pass by me while I followed her until we reached the sala of our house.

"Where's your parents? I would like to ask them if I can talk to you..privately." Now, I'm intrigued. Why would she want us to talk in private? As far as I know I'm participating on her class, keeping myself on my line and manage my grades' well.

"They're in the province to visit my grandparents. I'm eighteen and I don't think you still need to ask for that. " I coldly replied and gestured her to seat.

"You're a smart girl, I bet you're aware about what so called formality. " She refuted before taking a seat opposite to where I am.

Of course I know that, you will also can't outsmart me for explaining the most basic specification.

"What I'm trying to imply is that you can straightly talk to me like an adult. I'll act my age so we could talk formally and you won't feel uneasy around me. You won't choke me to death, don't you?" I smirked and slouch my back while crossing my arms.

"I won't, even if I did, I'll make sure there will be no trace of how your breath lost in my bare hands." She  fired back and mirroring how my body moves.

"What do you want us to talk about?" I asked and diverted the topic as I'm trying to hide my flushing red cheeks because of her ferocious remarks that sounds somehow different than it was. She's getting bolder day by day and I like that part of her.

She seems caught of guard, she open her mouth and close it again as she didn't know how to start what she wants to say.

"Where's the bathroom?" I choked and restrained myself from laughing. Is she that nervous? But why?

"All bathrooms is under maintenance, the only available is into my room and the maid's room. You choose." I stood up and wait her to response to accompany whatever room she choose.

"Is it okay to use your bathroom?"

"I won't put my bathroom into choices if it wasn't available." I'm trying to distance myself with my words and pretending that her presence didn't affect me.
