A different type of school romance

Exam day

We woke up cuddling, hugging so tight it felt like it was our last. He held me into his arms and as we woke up looked at me with the biggest smile.

« Morning beautiful » He said in his morning raspy voices that makes me go crazy.

« Morning Thom » I replied, my eyes closing again.

« Hey hey no falling back asleep, you've got school today » he said gently kissing my forehead.

« But I wanna stay with you , pleassseeeee? » I tried.

« No love, get up i'm making waffles » He answered while removing me off his chest to get up.

Did he just call me love? Am I hearing this right?

« I'm gonna get breakfast ready and you're gonna go get dressed for school and study, I remember you've got a test today right? » He looks at me while I'm being lazy on the bed.

« Yeah yeah I do, fine. » I say while going in my room and he starts to make breakfast.

As I go into my room I can't help myself but to jump on the bed, face first in my pillow as I remember what happened yesterday. As much as I hated it what happened in the restaurant was so hot and the cuddles after? Magestic. I definitly can get use to this lifestyle and to Thom, but I can't let him know that. He'd look at me again with this stupid smirk on his face that he always does... Which I find beautiful and annoying at the same time. Oh god I hope i'm not falling for him. No no that never happened and its not starting today.

I get up from my bed, my face red either from embarassement at my thoughts or cause my face was burried in my pillow for too long. I end up choosing some beautiful mom jeans with a crop top and a jacket, which isn't too revealing but is also pretty cute. I know I should be studying right now but I all I wanna do is watch youtube so I put on my headphones and sit on my bed , watching some MrBeast videos.

« Breakfast's ready Anna! » Thom yells

It smells wonderful so I make my way to the kitchen where I see Thom already stuffing his face.

« Couldn't wait for me? » I joke

« Not when you'll be dessert » He winks

My face goes red and no words come out of my mouth.

« I'm kidding Anna, sit down and eat. Have you studied? » He asks.

« Yeah » I lie without even thinking about it.

« That's good. I'm off ! See you tonight good luck on your exams! » He says as he storms out the door.

« Mmhyrjfn » Is all I can answer as i'm full of strawberry waffles.

I finish eating peacefully and make my way to class for my exams. I look around, not finding any sight of Cass around. I can't do this without my best friend so I figured I should text her.

*Cass where you at girl?*-Anna

*RUNNING. I'M RUNNING*-Cass

*Run faster then caus Ms. Teacher is distributing the worksheets. Do you want me to say you hurt your ankle or something*-Anna

*YES ANYTHING*-Cass

What wouldn't I do for her.

« Excuse me Miss, I need to let you know Cassie is coming she had a problem with her ankle » I lie.

« Okay, it better be true this time » She argues

Oops

She arrives, totally breathless and I laugh at how our story doesn't make any sense. The exams arrive in front of us and as I start reading the questions I realise I definitly should have studied.
