Chapter 6: Settlement

Varun and 005 went up the stairs to stop Vijah and find Bruce James. They were following a blood trace, which Bruce James left behind as he crawled up. As the got to the second floor they went around a corner and saw how Vijah, and his men were trying to open a door on the other side of the floor. But they noticed them and all of Vijah's men and he himself turned around giving their death stares.

005 was looking at Varun, waiting for him to shoot, but he didn't. But then Vijah's companions pulled their rifles.

"Dammit", said 005 as he pulled Varun back behind the corner, while the gangsters had started shooting.

"Give me the gun.", said 005 in an angry tone.

"Why?", asked Varun.

"Because you are unable to do the job!", said 005.

"Unable to do the job?"

"You hesitated while you could have shot first! Varun this isn't the right time to get soft. It is about saving lives."

This made Varun think. Had he really gotten that soft?

Suddenly the shooting stopped.

"Looks like it's over.", said Varun.

Vijah was holding a grenade in his hand, and he threw it forward to Varun and 005.

"Oh noo this is bad!!"

Varun and 005 both jumped out by crashing through a window and luckily landed on a tree while the grenade exploded behind them.

"Man, my back. Are you alright?", asked 005 who had directly landed on his back.

"I'm good. But it got my left knee."

"We were at such a disadvantage. I can't believe it.", said 005 while enduring the pain he was feeling.

< I can't believe that the circumstances made us look like fools. We couldn't accomplish anything in there. > thought Varun.

"Hey Varun! Look up there!"

005 pointed at a terrace on the first floor. Vijah was standing there while holding Bruce James at his neck.

"Oh no!", said Varun. Then he saw how a girl was brought in front of the building by two of Vijah's men.

"What is going on?", asked Varun he couldn't figure out what the girl had to with all this.

James Bruce was shaking out of fear as he said "Please let me go! What did I do to upset you?".

Vijah was giving him his death stare again. "You seriously have the balls to ask me what you did to upset me? Your breathing. Your life going on normally every day. Just everything about you pisses me off." Then he looked over to the girl down there.

"Hakima Bera. Does this name sound familiar to you?", asked Vijah.

James Bruce winced on this one.

Vijah pointed down with his eyes and Mr. Bruce turned around and saw the girl standing there.

"This girl is_."

"Yes, but this wasn't your only big mistake. Binjamin Tosun. Remembered something?"

James Bruce was shocked to hear this name.

"Yeah, he tried his best to stop you, but didn't got to finish his job. And now.", said Vijah.

"Will I finish it with pleasure and honour."

His victim was just trembling as Vijah turned his right hand into a fist.

"Please show mercy!", begged James Bruce.
