Chapter 5: A Warm Welcome

----Capital Building of Jura Tempest, morning

At the capital of tempest, we can see a silverish blue haired man eating his slice of cake in his garden, the plant was from the Great Jura Forest that he take care of

He is enjoying the food and scenery of the Swimming pool behind his capital building or mansion, until a black mist appeared beside him and revealed a black haired man in his suit with a face of shame for some reason

"Rimuru-sama, i have some bad news" he said with guilty

"State it" Rimuru said menacingly even tho he didnt mean it, the man kept trembling from his master tone

"R-Reyheim was killed"

".....by who?"

"The c-culprit is unknown, but according to Razen's report: "the murder of the archbishop was caused by the demon schemes", that is the rumor spread through magic transmission" he then continued

"In response, the temple knights of the sorroundings country began to move forwards to Farmus, they must be planning to interfere in the civil war directly, their goal is-"

"To subjugate the demon that killed archbishop Reyheim, and that is you, right Diablo?" Rimuru said while pointing his spoon to Diablo

"Yes, Rimuru-sama" Said Diablo while still looking down

"No worries, it isnt your fault"

"Im sorry for my negligence"

"No need, someone told me about the culprit......they are the seven luminaries" Diablo was suprised of his master knowledge

"Sasuga Rimuru-sama"

" i said "someone" told me, tho i do investigate about this, but i didnt go to far" Rimuru stand up from his white chair

"Anyway" Rimuru then put his right hand on Diablo's head, he thought he is headpatting him until a couple of seconds later he jolted and his eyes widened

Rimuru pulled his hand out and looked to the shocked Diablo who quickly regained his composure. Rimuru turned his back against Diablo and start to walk away with his both hands in his pockets

"Be careful Diablo, and finished your job cuz i have another one for you" he waved his hand without looking back

"Affirmative, Rimuru sama" then Diablo dissapeared to a black mist

----somewhere close to Blumund, afternoon

*clack clack clack*

A sound of a horse walking in a calm pace. A long black haired woman is on the horse wearing in white. She then sigh for some reason

"What do you think you're doing?"

"We should be the ones saying that Hinata-sama" Holy Knight Arnaud of the space, one of the most loyal knight to Hinata answer her question behind her while riding his horse accompanied with Lilith, Fritz and Bacchus

"Are you going to take all the glory by yourself" he said with a smile

"Are you daft? Im going to talk to him. I have no intention to take any glory" she then continued

"We're talking about a "demon lord" here. I have incurged his anger, so i should take responsibility. Return to the country this instant" Hinata spoke in a cold tone

"It's alright. Lennart and Giard are taking care of things while we're away" Fritz said cheerfully

"We have no desire to stand a top your sacrifice, it is only under you that the glory shines" said Lilith before continuing
