It was midnight and jungkook was probably asleep but a girl with golden hairs couldn't sleep. She was still not done crushing over jungkook's word.
"Only you can hug me,kiss me"
The golden haired girl checked her phone and searched something on google. 'How to tell crush you like him'
It showed random stuffs like 'give him compliments' 'subtle him' but yen doesn't seemed to like any of it
Soon she got a call from her father. She slowly picked it up after some time so he doesn't think she was awake
"Hello?" Yen said in a fake sleepy voice "yen i know you're awake."
"How did you called father?" She said getting up from her bed making sure she doesn't wake up her precious roommate and went towards her balcony.
"How are studies going?" Was the first thing yen's father asked
"Oh they are going well!" She replied lying
"I expect you to excel this time as well." He stated his expectations to her "yes,father I'll try."
"Don't try,do it." He said
"Yes,where's mother?"
"She's busy-" he said but got cut by his daughter "yes yes yes she's always busy! You both are always busy that you put me,your burden in this university so that you all don't have to take care of me anymore! After remembering you had a daughter you called me after a month just to ask about my studies?! Why can't you just ask how am i ?! If I'm liking here or not ! But you will just care about your business! Just because I declined marrying your business partner's son doesn't mean you'll just abandon me! Sometimes i doubt if I'm your real daughter or not! You will never care for my happiness but your reputation,respect,power and money!I hate you both so much!" She yelled with tears in her eyes not sure if her dad hung up or not
"Dear we didn't know you were feeling all this-"
"Just stop it father!" She cut him off again
"I am sorr-"
"I don't need your pity! Bye never call me again! Your daughter is dead" she said cutting the call with river of tears flowing down her eyes.
She turned around and saw her hot roommate standing there with worried eyes. "Jungkoo-"
"You were crying?" Yen shook her head and said "its nothing lets go and sleep" but she was captured into a soft meaningful hug
She broke into jungkook's arms the first time. She cried softly still hugging and getting hugged by the inky haired boy.
"What happened,muffin?" He asked so slow,so carefully
"I-i umm..." the goldie didn't continue trying to hide what she wanted to say. Jungkook then cupped her small face between his huge palms and stared inside her eyes which meant so much to him.
He wiped tears of the special girl infront of him and whispered "my muffin,I am always there for you. You can share anything you want!" He ended the sentence while placing a soft kiss on yen's forehead.
For the first time in this close proximity of jungkook yen didn't feel shy but protected. She felt safe. She felt her dream hero in front of her. She didn't realise that she practically took jungkook's first kiss.
That day jungkook realised he cannot see the girl with oceanic eyes,the girl with golden hairs,the girl with long height with tears in her eyes. That day jungkook promised himself to protect yen from anything no matter what.
He didn't know what feeling was this but this was definitely the first time. Jungkook hugged a women. Comforted her.
Jungkook still wasn't sure about his feelings so he decided to wait till everything in his master mind gets cleared.

Next day,when jungkook and yen were getting ready for university when she asked him "Jungkook,you are letting me talk with taehyung right?"
Jungkook turned around and whined "what?! I thought you didn't take it seriously!"
"Well i did! I feel bad for him so i just wanna talk to him and try to know what he's going through." She stated wisely
"Well,no girl could say anything more then "hello" they just have no guts!" Jungkook said
"They do have guts but they don't have jeon jungkook" the goldie said with a smirk and her roommate returned that smirk to her. "Smart." He said and yen winked at him. He smiled so genuinely which made the goldie's heart almost stop
Suddenly she remembered the challenge which she accepted from nancy
"I dare you to make him smile."
"Oh fuck?!" Yen said getting on her knees with fake tears forming in her eyes which weren't visible. She expected the inky haired boy to laugh at her acting but to her surprise he came running towards her and bent to her level,cupping her face
"What happened,muffin." He asked looking restlessly worried which made the goldie regret her decision of crying. She knew if she stop she'll get yelling so she continued acting. "I-i am in big trouble!"
"What happened tell me??" Jungkook asked. "Uh actually i promised nancy that i will make you smile infront of her today but I don't think i can..." she said crying so fake "i-i will help you muffin! I will laugh but after the crowd gets empty because I don't want to let them know that i-i smile..."
Sparkles came into the goldie's eyes as she normally said "thank you!" And hugged jungkook,to her surprise he hugged her back. They feel good in each others arms.
"You were acting?!" Jungkook said breaking the long hug. "I uhh umm" yen looked down preparing herself to get yelled. "You're a dummy muffin!" He said laughing and leaving the dorm

"VMINKOOK!" The girl yelled as always when the hot trio entered inside the corridors. Yen saw taehyung as her eyes almost ripped apart. He's so ethereally handsome in person. He didn't deserve all this.
Yen was in her thoughts standing infront of her locker while the door slightly opened. "Hey bitch! I hope you remember our challenge!" Nancy said
"Oh yea I remember nancy." The goldie replied looking in the scared eyes. "So first you because you only have to get a reply from him" yen said
"Whatever!"
After a while there were only yenkook and nancy left in the corridor when yen lightly pushed nancy towards jungkook who was looking at the goldie.
Nancy went towards him and said "hey! Jungkook!" Sweating bad praying he doesn't gets mad at her. Nancy thought yen touched jungkook and he didn't do anything means he won't do anything to her aswell.
That's when she made a biggest mistake by touching jungkook shoulder for two seconds and getting back when she saw fire flames in his eyes "AHHHH"
