Chapter Three✷

Tension, so strong in the air Teresa was afraid will chock every living being in the jet alive. Somehow the will to speak was seized from Teresa as she found it hard to stop herself from glaring at the man opposite her. The bitter taste of his name linger on her tongue.

Teresa feared her face was rather revealing too much, so she did what she was best at, running away. Whirling her gaze away from his to stare at Gideon's. The mouthed the word 'I'll kill you'

Not waiting for his response, she walked in with a forced smile, as she took notice of their other company.

A lady.

"Hello. I'm Teresa Andrew." She formally introduced herself, stretching her right hand for a handshake. Her hands were welcomed with warm, well taken-care soft ones.

"Kim Rachel." Teresa took the opportunity to really notice the lady. A mixed race. Half Asian, half white. There was no denying the beauty the other woman beheld. Her black straight silk hair almost blinded Teresa eyes, followed by her smooth soft skin, and black eyes. Those slender body of hers as she stood to shake Teresa's hand almost made Teresa starstruck. Her shape was to kill for.

Teresa isn't fat. No, she's what one would call bony. She'd a good amount for butt that her past boyfriend had called a handful. She was rather proud of her backside, but she can't say the same of her breast. They were small, like the size of a mango.

Yeah, she was insane comparing her breast to a fruit, but it was a better description and example.

Teresa's brown eyes scale through the other side of the jet where Jacob was seated, she realized Gideon had taken the seat opposite him.

"Jacob—" She said, while taking the seat opposite Rachel after asking for permission, "—it's been ten years, hasn't it?"

The Jacob of now looked different from the Jacob of then. The older Jacob appeared rather manly, his face had an aging roughness on it, she took notice of the stubble hair on jaw and chin, making him appear more masculine. His brown hair, looks short yet handful, and undeniable soft in the eyes.

His body was another part that had changed, the tee shirt he wore cling to his body like a second skin, leaving no detail of him hidden. He had a ripped body that she can't deny, and a muscle biceps that would attract the other opposite gender.

At her word, his intense green eyes that had been pierced to her sparkle in mischief. "It's been ten year? Well I'm sorry I haven't exactly been keeping records."

Teresa felt her face flame red in embarrassment. At least that nasty provoking tongue of his hasn't changed. "What can I say? Some of us have a really calculating brain." She replied, seeing if she could provoke him, even a little.

Instead she got a smirk and a body scrutiny. She almost gasps at the audacity of his eyes opening checking her out. It's obvious the little troublemaker Jacob was gone, but a grown up manwhore Jacob? What else would she expect?

Avoid him! Her brain warns her. She doesn't need any cautious warning. The past Sixteen years knowing Jacob stamped that part. He'd made her childhood, and teenage years a nightmare till she left Seattle for NYU.

Her teenage years were filled with him making a huge invisible stamp on her head written no boys allowed. Teresa had come to realize her lack of no relationship had been Jacob's fault. Jacob has always been a huge boy, his size scares everybody away, apart from the crazy females who finds his size attractive.

Teresa later found out the part of not having a boy asking her out had been her father's fault. He'd asked Jacob and Gideon to keep a close eye on her. Which apparently had brought his brotherhood protectiveness out. Sometimes, she has always been grateful for being an only child.
