The sun shone jovially through the curtains, illuminating the room and shining its natural spotlight onto two figures tangled together in bed. There was your arm here, there was Stu's leg there, but neither of you seemed to mind. It was natural, and peaceful. It was perfect.

It was, at least, until a stray beam made it its mission to wake one of you up.

Stu's one eye shot open, adjusting very poorly to the light and starting to water as a throaty groan came from his throat. "Why..."

He laid down comfortably with you, watching the places where Billy's white V-neck shirt had ridden up your skin— a reminder that you were just as much his as you were Stu's.

There was nothing in this world Stu Macher wanted to do more than to stay in bed with you and cuddle for the rest of the day, but they were on a schedule and from the looks of things, his friend was already up and about and out of bed. Nothing new there. Billy simply needed less sleep than he did, or he could have simply slept in his own bed. That boy was the less affectionate of the two, after all.

Carefully, Stu tried to untangle his arm from you to wipe his running tears, however, your sleepy self didn't want to let go. He was forced to try and use the shoulder of his sleeve with success, but not without his neck popping as he groaned. "Fuck the sun."

He spent a few moments looking at the ceiling and wondering. Thinking. Thinking about what you said.

When was this going to end? When was Billy planning to stop killing? When were they going to stop killing? When could the three of you finally have a place of your own?

Was going through all of it even worth it? Was any of it worth it? Well of course it was, because they now had you.

That thought was enough to turn him turn around to take a look at their prize. Were they being too selfish to ignore what you wanted?

But boy, was Stu glad he met you, all the way back in high school at one of his many, many parties. Your (H/C) coloured hair shone in the sun, and the light made your (S/C) cheeks illuminate your face. Stu knew that when he had to wake you up, he would be able to gaze into your pretty (E/C) eyes.

To you, it was just waking up. To Stu, it was the most precious moment of his days.

"Wakey wakey~" He got in about a minute or two of shameless, unabashed staring and cracked a lovestruck smile when you squinted, only to shut your eyes tighter as you pretended it was just part of what had previously been a very good dream.

"Princess... Don't make this any more difficult than it's gotta be..."

Not now. You mumbled incoherently, rolling over to your other side while trying to get out of your sleepy game of twister, forcing your pillow over your ears to block out the sing-song voice.

"Ten more minutes, please..."

Your tone was not nearly as moody as you intended it to be, but you felt far too content to sound convincingly moody.

You tried to imagine yourself in a different setting. It would be warm, so warm that the sunshine would melt on your body and cover you in its glorious love. Letting out a content sigh, you felt your eyelids drooping down lazily.

"Is it bucket of water time?" Stu yawned and nestled his face into your shoulder, giving it a tender kiss and a playful nip. "Not the way I wanna get my girl wet but a man can't complain."

Nope. You were sooo not falling for that one again, even though his touches felt incredibly good. This only helped you in refusing to move from your little paradise.
