"Keep the Council close," Seungcheol spoke, adding to Jeonghan's to-do list. He was between checking up on drawn plans for the amendment. They were set to present it and reading up on it brought the realisation of how important the names on the proposal sheet were, "We need to show them we care. The method doesn't matter." He pointed out, "Dip into my private budget if required but remind them why they need us."

Quite the numbers had aligned themselves to the Crown Prince's side. Limited free agents remained within the political circle but even then, Seungcheol had always been the top pick for the Crown. So, he did not fear losing the love he owned.

Instead, he feared that a few arrogant Council-persons would use this opportunity to make use of him. "Don't give them what they want. Show them what they need," His thought was detailed, "For example, the enrollment form of Seoul Royal University to the Imports and Exports Trade Minister. His daughter is in the first year of high school. Let's teach him greed now, shall we?"

Jeonghan nodded along, writing it down in his diary. Seungcheol was crafty enough by himself, "You understand, don't you?" he signalled with his narrowed eyes and Jeonghan smiled.

Seungcheol was shrewd but with Jeonghan, they were unshakable. "I'll get it done."

With that, Seungcheol tucked away the file with the news clippings boasting of Ari's success. The file had opened but Seungcheol wasn't going to allow it to grow any thicker. Leaning back into his chair, he glanced at the clock on the wall and then at his assistant, Yoon Jeonghan who was deeply engrossed in the work given to him. Tossing the pen into one of the stands, Seungcheol called out to him, "Are you going to waste away all your lunch break by working like this? Political disasters aren't as bad as health disasters, you know?"

Seungcheol's reminder made him ponder if his friend truly was such a hard worker. Had he always worked so tirelessly?

"I know," Jeonghan's answer was short, eyes focusing on the documents in front of him, "Chef Kang took his annual leave all of a sudden this morning

"I know," Jeonghan's answer was short, eyes focusing on the documents in front of him, "Chef Kang took his annual leave all of a sudden this morning. The Sous Chef is covering for him but because of this, he's scheduled the lunch a little later." Jonathan explained what Seungcheol had heard from the Head Maid in the morning, "So, unless you'd like me to cook you something..." He trailed off, the ending of his sentence evident on the Crown Prince's face.

Seungcheol was grimacing, "Absolutely not."

He seemed to remember the one time he'd tasted a marshmallow baked in a perilla leaf and the disaster that it was. "I'll cook. Or maybe we'll just get cup noodles." He sighed, knowing very well that cooking was not Jeonghan's area of expertise.

"Come on," Seungcheol dragged a soulless Jeonghan out of the study, "Let's go."
