Zecheriah's POV

"Mu-mum mu-mum," I woke up with a soft murmur.

I furrowed my brows, thinking I was just dreaming when those murmurs kept repeating.

At the same time, I felt something over my legs and arms.

I opened my eyes slowly, squinting from the haziness of my sleep.

When I regained my vision, I saw a white cloth. I lifted my head off the pillow slightly and tilted my head back, feeling soft skin brush against my arms.

I froze, seeing one of Dahlia's arms and legs were on top of mine as we both cuddled the barrier of pillows at the center of the bed.

A gibberish murmur came out of her pouted lips.

She was still sleeping.

I placed my head back down on the pillow, careful not to make any sudden movements to awake her.

I looked over to the table beside Dahlia's side of the bed and saw it was 8 in the morning already. I breathed out, blinking my slumber away.

As minutes passed by, with soft hums of Dahlia's from time to time, I spent it not moving an inch from my position and stared at her sleep.

She was just as adorable when she fell asleep last night, and I could see more of her features. Her blonde curly hair was tousled around with it shining against the ray of the sun through the sheer curtains of the room.

Dahlia shivered lightly, and I carefully slid my arms underneath hers to grab the duvet and bring it up to her shoulders again.

She must have felt the warmth because she instantly settled and snuggled her face deeper into the pillows between us.

Watching the slow movements of the blanket on top of her rise and fall at a steady rhythm, I fell asleep once more.

Dahlia's POV

I was having a nice dream about ice skating during the cold season in New York when I was woken up by a loud ringing.

I tried to ignore it, but the ringing was persistent.

I groaned, extending an arm out to blindly find my phone on the bedside table while facing the other way.

Once I reached it, I brought it to my face, seeing it was off. I tried to turn it on, but it was dead, and the ringing would not stop.

I groaned once more before tossing my phone on the phone, bringing a pillow over my head to block out the noise.

The ringtone stopped, and I felt myself drifting off to sleep once more when the sound of running water snapped me out of it.

I opened my eyes, seeing the empty spot over the pillows I was hugging.

I lifted my head off the pillow to look around the room. Still, a little bit dazed from my sleep, I saw the little clock on the other bedside table, which says it was already noon.

I rubbed my eyes before yawning and stretching my arms and back.

After two weeks of preparing for my departure for Italy's Fashion Week, I had a good sleep last night.

I was tired, plus the stress of the purpose of this trip.

Good thing, last night went better than expected.

And that brought a tugging of my lips upwards while staring at the ceiling.

I had a good time with Zecheriah. It's nice to have dinner with a new friend who is someone I may or may not have been crushing for since our little diner trip after the Alexander Wang show.
