Three weeks later,
"Okay class next Friday we will be having our first exam. I am passing out a study outline of what you need to study on." Professor Taylor said
She passed out the papers, when she was done. "Okay I am letting you all go twenty minutes early." She said
Payton stood up, she was gathering her things when Caleb Jackson spotted her. He waited for her outside the lecuture hall.
"Payton right." He said
"Oh hey Caleb. How are you?" She said
"I'm good. What about you?" He said as he started to walk with her.
"G-good." She said
"So would you like to be my study buddy for Creative Writing?" He said
Payton swallowed back the lump in her throat. "S-sure of course." She said
"Great. I'll text you later." He said as they exchanged numbers.
He left her to go flirt with some blonde that was waiting on him at the doors. Payton went on to her next class as she thought "Different school same ol crap."
That afternoon after football practice Caleb met Payton in the library. They studied for two hours before calling it a night and went home.
