Alphonse Elric x Reader

You have known the Elric's for as long as you could remember, when you were three, the Elric's had started learning alchemy. You had asked if they could help you learn it. Edward snapped that they were too busy to help a girl. Alphonse on the other hand, he agreed to help you. Al had explained as best he could at the time, and used some complicated books to help teach you. Your first transmutation was a figure of a cat. You had given it to Alphonse who's childish face lit up in delight. He took the figure, and hugged you. You giggled, and hugged back. But... That was all years ago. When you were seven, you were taken away from your home in Resembool to be experimented on. Your father had never liked you, and your mother had passed away just two years previous to your departure. These strange men took you to this place they called "Laboratory 5" You found your father there, dead on the floor. The men said they knew about how you knew alchemy, and forced you to preform Human Transmutation at such a young age. You woke up in a pool of your own blood, and a stinging pain. Both your arms were gone. You couldn't ask any of your parents for help anymore, and you had never been very religious, so there was no God for you to pray to, so you thought about the kindest person you knew. Gasping for breath, you managed the words "Al... Help me.." You then collapsed again. That was still years ago. You were now thirteen. Lab 5, your 'home' had been destroyed by a small blonde, and a suit of armor, much like Barry, and Slicer. You got sent to the hospital, which you were not happy about. The nurse had knocked on your door "(y/n) (l/n) can I come in?" You sighed, and said yes. The big suit of armor's head jerked up in the hall. "No" He thought "It couldn't be... (Y/n)..." He followed the Nurse's voice to your room, and once she had left, he knocked. Already irritated you yelled at the door "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!" Al was taken aback, this wasn't the (Y/n) He remembered. Nevertheless, he opened the door and said in his voice that sounded like he was still 10 "(Y/n)?" Your eyes widened as you recognized the voice "A-Alphonse?" Al inwardly smiled "Yeah...." You looked at him, and gasped "You were at the fifth lab?!" He asked "How do you know that place?" you looked down "That's where I was dragged off to..." You rolled up your sleeves, and showed him your automail. He lightly touched it "Why...?" "They killed my father. Then they made me preform the forbidden alchemy..." You were close to tears. This was a touchy subject. Al then sighed, and removed the helmet of his armor. You gasped, and a tear escaped your eye "Alphonse... Why?" He sighed "My brother and I.... We wanted to see our mother's smile again." You tried to stop crying, as you swung your legs out of bed and hugged your childhood friend. Al nearly fell over "(y/n)! What's wrong?" you cried harder as you told him "I wasn't able to protect somebody I love. I was away while you were in danger. I'm sorry." Al put his helmet back on, then hugged back "No, (y/n) I'm sorry. We left you for so long. I love you." You wiped your eyes, then smiled "Love you too, Alphonse." You got a chair, and kissed his helmet. He picked you up "And you'll be coming with us to get our bodies back." You smiled. This would be much better of a life then with your father, or fifth lab.
