****Mia's POV****

4 days later 
Friday March 10th

Sonny, Amanda, Trevor, and I was waiting in Sonny's office waiting for Barba to come get us

"I'm really nervous about our hearing."
I said

"It's going to be ok, Trevor is fighting for us, Barba, and whatever happens there's nothing, I mean nothing that you can't handle kid."
Sonny said

"You truly really are my dad."
I said
I wiped a few tears from my eyes

"Come here, I got you."
Sonny pulled me into him hugging me and I hugged him back

We let go of another
Amanda was standing there

"We are so proud of you Mia, everything you have accomplished and done, you'll always be our daughter."
Amanda smiled

I grabbed Amanda and hugged her tight
We let go of each other after a minute

"I'm glad out of all people you could be my mom."
I said

"Mia when we go in there today, be honest and don't hold anything back. Like everything we talked about."
Trevor said

"Yes sir."
I said

"How do you think it's going to go?"
Sonny asked

Trevor let out a deep breath

"I think we have a 50/50 shot, we got to keep our cool best we can though, no matter what. Sonny and Amanda you both need to try to remain calm even if it's hard, you don't want to be portrayed or looked at as parents that aren't emotionally able to handle anything or a kid. Mia I know this is hard but just be honest and try to stay calm, but off the record if you do get emotional it can help-just don't come off as insane."
Trevor said

"Thanks counselor."
Sonny said

"It's what I'm here for...I want Mia to be with you two, and I'd still represent you even if I didn't want that, but I genuinely want that for you all. Mia deserves a good home."
Trevor said

Barba opened the door
He looked stressed
I was stressed

"What's wrong?"
Amanda asked

Barba shut the door

"Whatever you all do, just remain calm."
Barba said

"What?!?"
Sonny said

My heart was racing

"Judge Ringer is ready for us.."
Barba said

"Are you ok Counselor?"
Trevor asked

"Yeah, just hoping this goes the way it should."
Barba said

I was Nervous hearing Barba say that and I had to know if he was saying that, there's a chance something major may go down today.

Barba led us out of Sonny's office
Trevor, Sonny, Amanda, and I followed him down to Judge Ringer's office

We went to the side of the room by the window like the last time, and Isabel, Jorge, and Robert their attorney walked in

Judge Ringer walked in and sat down at his desk

"Thank you all for being here again today."
Judge Ringer said

"I have carefully and thoroughly read through Mia's file down, had good talks with Michelle, and talked with Counselor Trevor and counselor Robert, and ADA Barba."
