Lucas Sinclair biked to Hoppers trailer in search of his best friends. He parked his bike and knocked on the door. After a few minutes Skylar opened it
"What's up Sinclair?" She smiled looking at the younger boy.
"We're going to look for Will, wanna come?"
"Does your mom know your going to look for him?" Skylar asked and Lucas shook his head
"No, she thinks we're gonna play D&D"
"I'm in" Dakota said walking out the door
"Uh, hold on a second there" Skylar said and Dakota turned to her
"Let's be honest, do you really think you can stop me from going?"
"No, someone has to make sure you don't get hurt, which is why I'm coming too" Skylar said and Lucas smiled
"You know your the groups mom, not just because your older but you care about us. And you'll make sure we don't die" and Skylar rolled her eyes
"Was this voted on?"
"Yeah is was unanimous" Lucas said walking to his bike with Dakota.
"This isn't gonna end well will it?"
"Probably not"
"Then we need backup" Skylar said knowing who to call.
The party walked together through the woods along with El when she noticed Mikes cut. El noticed too
"Why did they hurt you?" She asked
"What? Oh, that. Uh... I just fell at recess." He lied
"Mike..."
"Yeah?"
"Friends tell the truth."
"I was tripped by this mouth breather, Troy, okay?"
"Mouth breather?"
"Yeah, you know... a dumb person. A knucklehead." Dakota explained
"Knucklehead?"
"I don't know why I just didn't tell you. Everyone at school knows. I just didn't want you to think I was such a wastoid, you know?" He said and the two girl behind him frowned
