"I seriously don't get why we're in the woods again" Caitlin said as Skylar held her compass. Caitlin had seen enough movies to know two girls going into the woods at night looking for a mystery portal would not end well.
"Because we're trying to find out where this gate is" Skylar said getting a little annoyed with her best friend complaining.
"Without your party?"
"Yes"
"Well, I don't see anything" Caitlin said and Skylar groaned in annoyance
"Thank you Captain obvious"
"Your welcome, Can we go home. I'm cold and I promised Dustin I would take him to the arcade-"
"Shh" Skylar hushed
"What?"
"I said shhh"
"Yeah I got that part I don't get why"
Skylar rolled her eyes and walked towards a low screeching sound. She looked and saw it was the tree, no, it was in the tree.
"Sky, let's go. We found the gate let's leave."
"It might not be here"
"I don't care. I don't feel like dying tonight"
Sky didn't listen to Caitlin's calls and walked towards it. She stuck her hand towards it and turned to Caitlin.
"See, fine" she said and two seconds later felt a force pull her in.
"Skylar!" Caitlin shrieked
Skylar fell down what felt like a hill and looked around. It looked like their world but it wasn't. It was darker, and colder.
