Chapter 33: Battle of Balance!

Seijo stretched as he found a position in the court, standing opposite to Harry with two Pokeballs in his hands. Harry looked through his bag for where he had put his Pokemon, but managed to find them quite quickly and without issue. He held out a Pokeball in front of him and yelled to the other side,

"Hope you're ready to lose!"

Seijo smirked as he tossed a Pokeball into the air then tossed it onto the battlefield.

"Then, lets do it. Taillow, I choose you!"

Taillow emerged from the Pokeball, immediately flapping its wings and taking to the skies. Harry looked at his Pokeball, smiled with assurance that this was the right choice, and tossed out his Pokemon,

"Poochyena, it is time to battle!"

The Poochyena barked loudly at Taillow as it escaped from the Pokeball. It scratched its feet across the ground, digging into the sandy earth and preparing for a battle. Seijo looked at Poochyena and decided to take the first move,

"Alright, let's start with Wing Attack!"

Taillow's wings illuminated as it flew across the blue sky, then dived down in Poochyena. Just as Taillow was set to land on Poochyena, Harry commanded to Poochyena,

"Use Sand Attack and obscure its view!"

Poochyena began digging rapidly into the ground like it was searching for something hidden deep beneath the battlefield. The sand worked as the debris found its way into the air, spreading into Taillow's eyes and obscuring its vision. Then, when it's eyes had cleared, it was unaware of the Poochyena standing directly behind.

"Tackle!", Harry cried as Poochyena dived towards Taillow, striking it's side hard. Taillow tumbled over the battlefield, scrapes lining across its fur. But, it rose again rather easily from the ground, picking itself up and flying once more.

"Are you okay?", Seijo yelled from the opposite side of the battlefield. Taillow nodded and spread its wings as Seijo commanded another move,

"Now, Quick Attack, full speed!"

Taillow dove down similar to how it had before, but it seemed that it was much more agile as it glided in the air towards the ground. But, Harry could still command to Poochyena in time,

"Dodge!"

Poochyena hopped over Taillow as it went to bash into Poochyena's torso, but Poochyena found that Taillow wasn't done quite yet.

"And, again!", Seijo yelled. Taillow quickly shifted its momentum to the other way and dove down at rapid speed, so much so that Harry had no time to even react. Poochyena was caught with a face of shock as Taillow's beak struck its torso, sending it skidding back across the battlefield. Harry knew that Poochyena could continue, however, and quickly commanded,

"Howl, now!"

Poochyena let out a loud battle cry that caused a red wave to wash over its body. Its attack had increased, and now Harry was even more set on going onto the offensive.

"Alright, time to battle even harder. Bite, lets go!"

Poochyena snarled as it rushed towards Taillow, who was sitting on the ground rather than in the air. It took to the skies at the first sight of danger, then advanced even higher as Seijo called,

"Dodge by ascending. Don't let it reach you!"

Taillow dodged Poochyena's first jump towards it by rising just above where it had struck. But, Taillow knew it wouldn't be content to go for a single attack. Poochyena skidded, then turned to jump up towards Taillow again, this time actually being able to reach the level that Taillow was on. But, Seijo knew what to do,
