as much as namjoon loved hoseok, he couldn't handle him at times.

he was a busy law students, he was sitting at his desk most of the day and having a bright person staring at you from the corner of your eye wasn't fine.

everyone could appreciate a little cheeeleader once in a while, but having him all the time was exhausting.

especially when this little cheerleader was an advocate on taking breaks and practicing self care. the idea of that was so stupid to namjoon. when have you ever heard of a law student take a break? in fact, namjoon didn't think he had the word, 'break', in his vocabulary.

at first, namjoon could handle hoseok's cheers and nags. he brushed them off and continued his work, but after months and months of hoseok saying the same thing about a million times a day he was sick of it. he couldn't handle it. hoseok would never understand what it was like to go to law school.

"c'mon joonie, take a break with me" hoseok teased with a smile, shutting namjoon's laptop, namjoon let out a huge sigh, "you know what? i'm so sick of your nags, i'm sick if hearing them every day about a million times! you'll never understand what it's like to be a law student" he shouted, he was saying these things out of anger but couldn't stop himself. the heart shaped smile on hoseok's face faded and turned into an upside down triangle.

namjoon was too aggravated and upset to notice it, he kept going on about his rant, "you never understand! you never even try to do so! all you know is how to style you stupid plastic mannequins with pieces of expensive cloth! you haven't had to open up a 500 page book and tell me who deserves what of a deserve settlement!" namjoon shouted, clenching his fists.

hoseok watched his expressions, tears pooling in his eyes as he watched his partner say these dirty and awful things, "please joon, i-i'm sor—"

"no you're not!" he shouted, "i didn't know it bothered you—" he tried saying, but his voice felt so quiet and weak against namjoon's shouting one.

"because you never tried to understand!" namjoon said, pushing hoseok against a wall, "you know what? it's better we take a break" he gritted, letting go of hoseok's shoulders that were now aching because of the tight grip namjoon had on them.

"j-joon, please" he said, tears rolling down his cheeks, "grab your things and go! i can't see you anymore!" he shouted, "you're just mad honey, i-i don't think you mean it" he sniffled, namjoon was too mad to look at hoseok's crying face.

"i mean it!" he raised his voice, "no you don't" he sniffled, "take a deep breath, joon" he cried, "don't tell me what to fucking do! can you just grab your things and go?" he shouted, hoseok lowered his gaze and did as told.

he grabbed a black backpack that held  a lot of things. he slowly grabbed his things and placed them inside, biting his lip to not let out a sound.

namjoon stared at him, "could you go any slower?" he scoffed, grabbing a suitcase that was hoseok's that they had sued to travel once. he grabbed a bunch of hoseok's clothes and shoved them inside.

"i-i'm sorry" he whispered, but namjoon didn't say anything.

you could only imagine the look on yoongi's face as he saw the boy on his doorstep with a suitcase and backpack, puffy eyes on display.

"what happened?.." he breathed out, making hoseok start sobbing. yoongi held onto him as he brought inside the suitcase.

hoseok told him everything. his lips trembling as he did so, he was out of breath from crying so much. he showed yoongi his shoulders from the grip namjoon had on him.
