Poem: To You

Here I'm going to write all the things I couldn't say
The feelings that you've never felt
The longing that I've never shown
The emotions that I couldn't express

Never have I ever
In my life, the
Entirety of my life felt
A feeling like this before
Never do I want to feel this again

I thought you were the one
But that was me being a fool
I hope one day I can find you
And in the middle of the street
We would call out to each other
Asking "What Is Your Name"

And I'd express the love, the hurt, the betrayal,
All of the feelings I've felt towards you
When you didn't say you would be gone...
Forever

How long is forever?
Why does it exist?
I've realised every second when I'm with you
It would become a reality
Forever isn't a time
But a memory

And if you're reading this I hope you realise
