Poem: Me, You and Her

When I see you with her
I get a bit jealous.
She's all I ever was
And all I ever wanted to be.
You were all I ever wanted
You to be.

She's pretty,
I'm in awe of how her majestic form
Completely erases your hideous persona.
You don't deserve to be complimented with
Her gace and beauty.

They ask about us...
Not to throw shade at all
But to subtly remind me that I've been replaced
By a younger, lighter, more beautiful and kind girl.

They ask about you and I
Like we're the same person
Not to throw shade or rub salt in an open wound
But for me to realize
That there's no more us.
Just me, you and her.
