A wise man once said
"art composed with emotions
Is better than art without".
I pondered on that for a while.

Anger and sadness
Expressed in a silhouette of pain
Painted on a canvas
And shown to the world

"Why can't you paint love",
My teacher asked calmly.
She didn't know that I couldn't express
Emotions that I've never felt
Strongly and passionately.

Memeories of an unrequited love
Flashed violently in my mind
As I saw her years later.
He was smiling...
Happily as my emotions resurfaced

And one day
My artistry weaved
A painting called "Longing"
