"Ilang araw nalang launching na Miss Heav anong plano mo?" Hindi niya pa natapos e-check lahat ng mga documents na nasa isang envelope pero heto siya sa harap ko at kinukulit ako na parang hindi niya ako nainis kanina sa walang kwenta niyang biro.
"Bakit may plano ka?" I ask her sarcastically with another question. I look at her. Napangiwi ako ng para s'yang pato na nakanguso.
"Nagtatanong lang Miss Heav eh" aniya na parang batang hinding napagbigyan sa hiling niya. Padaskol s'yang umupo sa harap ko. I bite my own lip to stop myself in surpassing a laugh.
"Mia, grab a car" she look at me, wondering.
"Para saan Miss Heav? San punta mo?" Pagtatanong niya pa.
"We'll go to the venue, why?" I said and stood up to make myself ready and fresh.
"Ahh, pero may sasakyan naman po kayo isang oras lang naman ang byahe papunta dun"
"Tinatamad ako Mia and please call Chantalle to ask if she can ask someone to pickup my car" I applied foundation on my face and a red lipstick on my lips, nag-spray lang din ako ng perfume sa katawan ko dahil okay na ako wala namang gusot ang suot ko.
"Tapos na po Miss Heav" I grab my bag on the table and walk outside my office. Nakaabang na sa akin si Mia sa labas ng building ng makalabas na ako, she's standing beside a car na mukhang hindi niya naman binook. She's actually holding a key, and the car was really expensive if I have to know about it.
"I told you to book a car and a driver Mia"
"Wag na Miss, gastos lang yun. Ako muna driver mo ngayon Miss Heav, itong baby ko nalang ang gamitin natin" she said and winked at me. I rolled my eyes to her.
Wala akong nagawa at sumakay nalang din dahil mas mabuti ngang itong kotse niya ang gamitin namin. Own service, less service. We used her phone to know the location of the said venue. Waze is the key!
Hindi umabot ng ilang oras ang naging byahe namin dahil sa hindi traffic ay parang alam din naman ni Mia ang ibang shortcuts, wala ding use ang paggamit ng Waze. May time na naliligaw kami at kailangan naming magtanong-tanong sa taong tambay na madadaanan namin. I don't know if I'd be thankful about it or not since we got safe.
Sabay kaming lumabas ng sasakyan at tiningala ang malaking building. It was a fucking five star hotel! I look at Mia to ask her if we're on the right place, she showed me the picture of the building the event organizer sent to her, and it was right! She shrugged telling me she also don't know. Two guards waylaided us to check our bags, pinapasok lang kami ng building ng ma-checked na nila.
"Mia" I stopped and face her.
"Yes, Miss Heav?"
"Look for the organizers, tell them I want to talk to them, and tell them meet me at the back of the building" I said and continue scrolling in my Instagram feed. Hellie's latest posts appear and the twins were there, posted a minutes ago. Tinreat ata sila ng Ninang Hellie nila ng ice cream, and their even at the park together with Hellie's fiance. I smile because of their cuteness.
Maybe I should look for a nannies to take care of the twins? Dahil mukhang nakakaabala na ako sa mga kaibigan ko, they have their own businesses too, they maybe can empty their schedules for a day or days for the kids dahil lang binilin ko sa kanila ang kambal ay hindi na sila nasasayangan. Nahihiya na ako sa mga kaibigan, it's really time for me to find a nannies for them, iyong may experiences na at masisiguro kong hindi mapapabayaan ang kambal habang wala ako.
I set aside my phone in my purse and went at the back. I stunned when there was a beach!? Bakit hindi ako na-inform na ganito ang lugar na nirentahan ng organizers para sa launching!? I won't wonder if this will cost a lot because everything was really expensive! Maraming cottages at may jet ski pa! It was said at the information corner na once nabayaran na ang entrance fees ay pwede mo nang gawin lahat ng libre!
"At sinong tangang may-ari ang magpapagamit sa jet ski ng libre? Tsk." I hissed murmuring to myself dahil bukod sa akin wala namang ibang tao, maliban nalang kong may multo—
"Ako"
"Ay multo!" Sigaw ko dahil sa gulat ng may sumagot sa tanong ko. Lord bakit naman po ganito?... Kakasabi ko lang po kanina...
I signed a cross, silently praying that the ghost will disappear. Pero imbes na mawala ay parang tinatakot talaga ako dahil tinatawan na ako!
"Ama namin—"
"You're so cute" did I just heard it right? A fucking ghost just tell me I'm cute!? Matutuwa ba ako o matakot!?
"Oh... Fuck you!" I shouted beneath my breath and slapped whoever this person who held my shoulder!
"Tangina Miss Heav ang sakit! Hinawakan ka lang eh!" I panicked when I realized who it was! Nasampal ko si Mia! Hindi ako magtataka kong mamaga dahil kahit ako alam kong lakas ng sampal ko! But it was also her fault! Yes it is! Tinakot niya ako! She held my shoulder using her damn so cold hand!
"Sorry Mia... Sorry talaga... Ikaw naman kasi tinakot mo ko..." My hands immediately touch her cheeks.
"Wala na Miss Heav nabawasan na ang ganda ko! I prepared for this!" Aniya. Imbes na maawa pa ako ay binatukan ko nalang siya. Seriously? She had the nerve to joke around?
"Anong nabawasan? Pangit ka naman talaga mas lumala lang" sumama ang timpla ng mukha niya dahil sa sinabi ko.
"Ako na nga itong sinampal mo Miss Heav, tapos lalaitin mo pa ako!? Ano yan Double hit in one situation!?" She mocked at me.
"It was your fault! Kita mong natakot yung tao mas tinakot mo pa!" Singhal ko sa kanya at naglakad patungo sa isang malaking cottage, where the the sun is setting and the clouds is getting dark with an orange color.
"You're unbelievable Miss Heav!—" I cut her.
"Oh bakit aber!? Bakit!?" Panghahamon ko sa kanya. Her mouth was slightly open and was about to say something pero pinigilan lang ang sarili. I looked at her proudly because of what I did.
"Papunta nayung mga organizers" she said in her low voice, diverging the topic. Mahina akong natawa at kagat labing tumango tango sa sinabi niya. However, I bet she see me laughing because she throw me her sharp look. I pursed my lips together and keep my laughs to myself.
Hindi rin nagtagal ay sabay na dumating ang apat na organizers. Kung nagtataka kayo kung bakit apat ay hindi ko din alam. I left this tasked to my business partners, they probably hired four. It was okay for me naman since I know this gonna be hard for only one organizers or two.
They are actually girls with one boy? But I bet gusto din ng lalaking to ang magsuot ng gown, based on how he dressed himself and how he acts. They discuss everything to me one by one and I was really in awe in everything! In one place they really create a four venues for the attendees to choose where they wanted to stay but will gonna gather in the main venue once it will be the start of the launching of the new company with two owners, no other than me and the BIG INVESTOR. I was excited yet I was also nervous and scared.
"Is everything settled guys?" Nabaling ang atensiyon namin ng dumating ang lalaking sinasabi kong BIG INVESTOR. Parang kinikiliti naman ang mga organizers dahil sa kilig ng ngumiti si Clyde, while I just rolled my eyes on him dahil nakakairita ang gwapo niyang pagmumukha. Gwapo? Bakit ko naman nasabi na gwapo siya? Ugh!
