Daring Charming was walking back to his dorm after hanging out with his friends for the afternoon. Normally he's be with his girlfriend, Cerise but she had to do some stuff for her many, many sports.

He finally gets to his dorm and quickly hops in the shower to decompress. After the shower he gets in some comfy clothes and dries his hair. As he walks back into his room he finds non other than his girlfriend Cerise, laying on his bed holding his pillow with her face buried in it.

As he got closer he heard sniffles come from her and was alarmed by it.

"Cerise, what's wrong"he asked reaching her

She looked up at him and said "It's nothing I wanna talk about anyway"said Cerise

"Oh no, tell me because you'd do the same to me"he said

She didn't budge.

"Did something happen at practices"he asked

"Of course it did you know why"she exclaimed "My time was awful during my run, I got hit by a softball, I fell during my cross country pre qualification race and I almost drowned during my swim"

"I'm so sorry that happened"he said hugging her

"I don't know what's wrong with me, I've been practicing for weeks and now all of a sudden I can't do it right"she said

"I know exactly how you feel, how do you think I felt when you joined all the teams, I went from best players to next best and I wasn't used to that but I went out for a fun night to clear my head and i came to terms with it"said Daring

"Yeah but this is my life"said Cerise

"I know trust me, but you've been working yourself to death for weeks and you really need some time off so, get up and go change"said Daring

"Why"asked Cerise

"I'm gonna take you out for the night to give you a break"said Daring

"Daring I still have another swim and I'm supposed to go meet at the gym"said Cerise whining

"Nope not anymore, now let's go"he coxed

Cerise stood up and looked in his floor length mirror. She looked a mess, her eyes red with runny mascara, her hair wet and curly from her swim and she was only wearing a sports bra and spandex shorts.

"I don't get how you haven't run away yet"she laughed

"I know you may not feel it but you are the most beautiful in the world"he kindly said

Cerise smiled and walked out to change for his spontaneous date he had planned.

"Hey C, I was just gonna call you"said Raven "We are having a sleepover in Maddie's dorm, you wanna come"

"I would but I can't"said Cerise

"Why not"said Raven sadly

"I have a date"said Cerise

Just then all their friends popped up and went in a singsong voice"WiTH DarINg"

"Haha very funny, but if we get back early enough I'll come over"she said waving them off

"Ok have fun"yelled Raven

"And don't do anything I wouldn't"yelled Briar

"I'll try"said Cerise

Daring walked down to Cerises dorm to pick her up for their date. He knocked on her door and when she opened it he was starstruck. It was a casual night so she was wearing a red halter top, white jeans, brown knee high boots and her hair was in a high ponytail.

"Hey princess"he said softly "You ready to go"

"I think so, let me just grab my-"

"Wallet, no need"he cut her off "How many times do I have to tell you I'll pay"

"I know I know, I just don't want you to worry about it"said Cerise

He kissed her forehead and grabbed her hand and they left the school.

They walked down the Bookend and got something to eat before going somewhere else.

"So where else are we going"she asked

"Well I thought we'd go see a movie at the Multi-hex and probably go get a drink or two"he said

"I like that idea"said Cerise

At the theater they watched a new movie called "Beautifully You". Not either of their first choice but the ticket master recommended it but it was pretty good.

After the movie they did end up going to grab some drinks because in Ever After they were legally allowed to drink.

"Cheers to a date night"said Daring

"Cheers to that"said Cerise laughing and clinking her glass of wine

After their date, they got back to the school. It was around eleven but neither of them knew that. Cerise and Daring parted ways and went back to their rooms for the night because Cerise told Daring she was going to the sleepover.

Daring layed in bed scrolling through his phone and answering some texts when his door opened to reveal Cerise.

"Hey Cerise, you ok"he asked

"Yeah, I was wondering if I could stay in her tonight"said Cerise

"Of course"he said making room for her

They snuggled close wordlessly and while it was silent it was perfect.

"I hope you had fun tonight"Daring said "I know it's not a regular date but I wanted to make you feel better"

"I actually did have fun, you were right, I did need a break"she said

"I just wanna kiss you "he said

"I'm not objecting"said Cerise

Daring softly kissed her lips and as he felt her smile into the kiss. Her lips tasted like her favorite cherry vanilla lip balm and he loved it and he loved her.

And that's how the bad day ended.
