It was a quiet day in the walls of Ever After High. Too quiet if i'm being honest. Something bad was brewing and it was looming in the air.

"Hey Cerise"Dexter called "Have you talked to Daring today"

"Not since this morning he said something about not wanting to go to class and to tell the teachers he wouldn't be in"Cerise said

"Ok, it's just i haven't heard from him, it's not normal for him to not text me"Dexter said

"Ok i'll head over to his dorm and i'll text you the results"Cerise said walking away from him

Cerise knocked on Darings door before waiting for a response. It never came.

"Daring"Cerise called

Still no answer but his door was open so she walked in and there he was, lying across his bed but he showed no sign of being awake.

"Daring"Cerise said dashing towards him

Luckily he was awake but his eyes were bloodshot red and clouded over.

Cerise looked on his night stand and saw dozens of pill bottles with no labels in sight.

She sighed as she rolled him over and he finally made notice of her.

"Hey Cerise, i was just gonna text you"he said running his hand across her face

"Daring what are you on"sane said showing him the pill bottles

It was then Daring regained some form of control over his state and said "What are you talking about"

"Don't play stupid Daring what are you on"Cerise said firmly

"Shit, I didn't want you to know"he said dragging his hands across his face

"Know about what that you're killing yourself"she cried still holding the bottles

Daring gently pried them from her hands and pulled her closer.

"C, I didn't want you to know because I didn't wanna burden you with my own personal problems"he whispered

"Daring I would've listened and tried to understand I want you to tell me everything"Cerise said

"Yeah, I'll try to do better with that, I've never had to share my feelings in a relationship before"Daring said kissing her lips

"Daring, are you-"she started before Daring cut her off

"No, no i'm not addicted it pills"

"Ok"she said resting her forehead on his

"Let me help you"she whispered

"Ok" he said "I'm all ears"
