"I'll just come back," Lorenzo said weirdly.

"No, he was just leaving," Rosabella said

I looked at her and she folded her arms while glaring at me. I ran my fingers through my hair and walked out. Lorenzo gave me a look and I ignored it.

I went down the stairs where I heard two small voices.

"Who are you?" Alyssa asked.

"No who are you?" Ryder asked

"I asked you first," she said to him.

"I don't care pretty princess," he said while folding his arms.

"Don't call me that idiot," she said

"Or what pretty princess?" he smirked.

"My dad will put you into a cage with his lion," she said

"Oh look, I'm shaking in my socks," Ryder mocked before walking back towards his room.

"Asshole" Alyssa said and I made my presence known.

"Language, both of you," I said and they looked at me.

"I'm sorry," Alyssa said.

Ryder just folded his arms as he stared at her.

"Where's my mom," he asked as Alyssa walked toward me.

He looked up at me and I looked at Alyssa

"She's in her room," I said

He nod before entering his room. "See ya, Sander," he said and my eyes widened.

He closed the door and I blinked a couple of times.

He didn't-

"Daddy?"

"Yeah?" I asked as I looked down at her.

I picked her up into my arms and looked at Ryder's closed door.

"I don't like him"

"Hey, that's not nice to say," I said

Alyssa went to bed and I checked on Ryder. He was fast asleep in the darkness. I've learned that he doesn't sleep in the light like normal kids.

I sighed before closing his door and then walked to my room. Hannah was sitting on the bed typing on her phone.

I cleared my throat and she looked up

"Hey baby" she smiled

I closed the door behind me and walked towards her.

"Your sister is already arranging a welcome party for me. God, she is the sweetest," she said while placing her phone down.
