Ryder ran into my arms and I got up and spin us around.

"I missed you so much," I said while hugging the life out of him.

"No I missed you more mom," he said

I placed him down and he smiled.

"How was your flight?" I asked

"He ate a lot of candies behind me back so he wouldn't fall asleep due to the energy pumping inside his veins," Althea said.

"You promised you wouldn't tell her and I didn't want to go to sleep until I saw my mom," he said

"Well she's your mom and I'm more scared of her than I'm afraid of you," she said before smiling at me.

"I hope he wasn't too much trouble," I said as Althea placed their suitcases down.

"Nah he was fine otherwise," she said before giving me a hug.

Ryder fell asleep after I help him with his bath. Althea was talking a bath so I went up to Enrico's room.

He opened the door and rolled his eyes.

"Not room service," he muttered

He walked away and I walked in.

Ignoring his attitude I took a deep breath

"Firstly I just want to say I should have never taken your call in the position I was in," I said

"The position you were in?" he laughed bitterly.

Okay maybe that was a bad thing to say in an apology.

"And what position was that Rosabella," he asked
