Sharing the back room in the Quinjet with Loki and Tony Stark together was not at all a pleasant experience. It wasn't like the friendly bickering shared amongst her, Obi-wan, Anakin, Ahsoka and Rex. It was annoying Noelle so greatly, she thought she was about to go mad.

Loki seemed to sense her distress, which bothered her even more. The longer Noelle was in close proximity with him, the more uncomfortable she was getting. The way Loki stared made it feel like he knew everything about her– every insecurity, every flaw, every fear she had. It made her visibly shudder.

She wasn't sure what it was about him in particular that unsettled her so. Not many people were able to unnerve her this much. There had been Maul, who frightened her to death, and then that guy Náedran who had been in league with Dooku/Saruman. It had been Maul's knowledge of the future that scared her, and Náedran because he was not who he had seemed.

But Loki?

Noelle didn't realize she had been gnawing the inside of her cheek until she tasted blood on her mouth. She couldn't take it anymore. She whipped around to face a smirking Loki from where she had been staring at the wall.

"Have something you want to say aloud to me?" she snapped.

Loki smiled. "No, I enjoy seeing you suffer in silence far too much," he sneered.

Noelle gave him a sardonic smile in return. "That's funny," she said. "You know, I suppose I ought to thank you. You made me this." She held up her left hand, creating a small, blue wisp of energy. "And in turn, that helped us bring you in."

Loki only seemed more amused by this statement. "Did it though?" he asked.

Noelle didn't answer. Running a hand through her hair, she turned away from Loki again. At this point, she actually had a headache from the stress.

Then there was the Mind Stone only feet away from her, also in the back of the jet.

And Steve and Tony arguing. Steve was trying to point out the same thing she had about how it was far too easy how they had caught Loki, and Tony kept calling him nicknames like "Capiscle."

She let out a loud sigh, catching their attention.

"What?" Tony raised his eyebrows, as he and Steve both turned around.

"Will you two, stop, please? I can't take this anymore–"

She was interrupted by a loud boom of thunder outside. Lightning cracked through the sky unexpectedly.

"Where's this coming from?" Natasha said from the front seat.

Noelle frowned, narrowing her eyes. She sensed someone was out there. And judging by the look on Loki's face, it was someone he was afraid of.

Steve noticed too. "What's the matter? Scared of a little lightning?"

Loki was glancing nervously at the sky.

"I'm not overly fond of what follows."

Noelle's eyes widened in realization.

Oh no–

It was Thor. His brother. The "god of thunder." That explained the sudden storm.

They heard a loud BANG, and the Quinjet rocked to the side, almost sending Noelle off her feet. She steadied herself with the Force.

This was anything but good. Noelle didn't know much about the Asgardians or Thor, or whether they were friendly or not. Fury had claimed that Thor wasn't hostile, but did they know that for certain? The only thing that was certain was that Thor was here for Loki.
