He kept crying with Arice in his arms.
Cries filled the empty hall.
  Then a scream.

His tears were falling to her pale, cold skin.
He thought of everything.
It was his fault.
Because he took Arice with him.
Because he didn't kill her that night.
This girl was a curse.
And at the same time, a blessing

Little he didn't notice is that her heart was still beating.
His scims hurt her. And Japeth was the owner of the scims. So couldn't he heal her somehow?
Japeth never tried to save someone from his own scims. He didn't know what to do.

His tears touched the wounds caused by his eels. They slowly closed, blood stopped coming out and Arice's breaths started to grow bigger.
But she didn't wake up. She didn't open her eyes.
Japeth was still desperate.
This is why mother abandoned him. He doesn't know how to love. He doesn't know how to be normal. Maybe Arice will abandon him too after she wakes up. If she's going to wake up.
There was only one thing to do.
Slowly, Japeth kissed Arice on her cold lips.
His neck glowed an ice blue. The light glowed harder in his throat, then it gone.
After the boy separated their lips, Arice's neck glowed too. Then the light expanded to her chest and stomach. It turned purple,then...the light dissapeared.
"it won't happen again" Japeth repeated, holding Arice tighter.
Silence.

Then a voice spoke
"if only that was a promise you could keep"
  She said weak.
Japeth's eyes widened.
Instead of leaving the girl who knew too much to die...he had given her new life.
He was a wizard after all.

She'd lost too much blood already.
Japeth got up, holding Arice in his arms, and walked to his chamber.

He walked thought the halls, as fast as he could, with his eyes red and his skin dirty from tears.
The  green door magicaly opened, as he walked in.

"you'll live" he whispered.
The room was a mess, but this wasn't the problem right now.
The problem is that he almost lost Arice in an act of anger.
Japeth placed the girl on his bed.
Her eyes opened.
Her purple eyes, that Japeth thought he'll never see again.

Arice felt different. Like every doubt she had was gone. She felt cold and empty.
Because when Japeth kissed her, he'd given her a part of his soul.
Just temporary.

They gazed in each other's eyes.
Arice went closer. Feeling his breaths on her face. But right when she was about to kiss him, she stopped.
And smirked at Japeth.
"You like when i kiss you" she said as her smirk widened.
Japeth frowned. He aggressively kissed Arice in revenge, as they both fell into the bedsheets.
This girl was irresistible.

Japeth was lying on his back, with Arice's head on his chest. The room was silent, Japeth lost in his thoughts while Arice was listening to his heartbeats.
How they wished to stay like this forever. For the first time in a lot of years, Japeth felt alive. He'd found someone who he could trust.
A girl so brave that she returned.
A girl that wasn't afraid of him
A girl so special that he couldn't give up on.
A girl who was now carrying his offspring.

Arice.

Soon their paths will separate. But today they were together.
"Japeth"
"hm?"
"i still have two wishes left" she said.

Japeth was silent. He remembered his stupid deal.
"go on" he then said.
"I wish you to choose a name"
A name, Japeth thought. He didn't need to ask for what, as he knew perfect.
Arice wished for a name
For her child
For his youth
After a minute, the silence was broken as a single word left his mouth.
