Luna P.O.V

I nervously kept touching my bracelet while looking in the mirror. Is this alright? I questioned as I moved around trying to see my dress from every angle. I was wearing a red satin dress. It had a slit going up one of the sides and the neckline was a little low but not too much. The dress was neither tight nor loose fitting. I had my hair in a half updo with a black silk bow tying it together. My makeup was not too dramatic. A bit of bronze eyeshadow and black eyeliner with a soft red lip. I started fiddling with my fingers. Shit, I'm nervous now. "Are you ready?" Maya appeared in the doorframe. Her eyes lit up and a huge smile appeared on her face. "You look amazing!" I gave her a shy smile. Maya was wearing a light purple dress with sparkles. She had absolutely outdone herself this time. The dress was tight on the top and flowy on the bottom. It fit her perfectly. She linked her arm with mine. She turned us towards the mirror. She had a thoughtful look on her face. "Are you guys coming? The guys are waiting for us downstairs" Savannah came into my room. My jaw dropped once I saw her. "Omg Sav you look otherworldly" Savannah tried to hide her smile. She was wearing an emerald green dress that was formfitting. It had a long slit up one of the sides. She cleared her throat and crossed her arms "Thank you Luna. You look beautiful". Maya let go of my arm before clapping. "Okay let's go! We don't wanna be late" she had already left the room. Savannah and I followed her.

We walked downstairs. Soobin, Beomgyu and Kai were all waiting for us. "Wow" Kai said as he stared in our direction. Soobin's jaw dropped and Beomgyu was smiling from ear to ear. "We're ready" Maya said as she stood next to Kai. Kai was obviously trying to hide the fact that he was a blushing mess. Soobin kept taking peeks at Savannah. Awh that's so cute. I couldn't help smiling at the two boys' reaction. I looked to Beomgyu. He had the biggest grin on his face. I raised my eyebrow at him. He scratched the back of his neck while laughing. I shook my head as I laughed with him. I looked around. "Where are Yeonjun and Taehyun?" Beomgyu shrugged. "We're here" Taehyun and Yeonjun walked toward us. I turned around to fully face them both. My eyes went directly to Yeonjun's. His eyes seemed to widen in surprise. "You guys cleaned up nice. I'm pleasantly surprised" Taehyun said as he gave a nod of approval. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Maya stepped forward. I lost focus on their arguing as I kept eye contact with Yeonjun. I felt a cold shiver down my lower back. It gave me goosebumps. Unintentionally I crossed my arms. Yeonjun tilted his head with a confused expression. Maya stepped in front of me "Well are you coming?". The cold sensation immediately disappeared. Yeonjun shook his head before leaving with the others. Maya looked at me confused. I gave her a smile "Let's go".

~At the school~

I tightened my grip around Beomgyu's arm "Why is everyone staring so much". Beomgyu kept a smile on his face "Well this is the first time any of us has really been seen around other people". I furrowed my eyebrows "And especially since you're a girl". I put on a forced smile "Of course". He patted my arm "It's okay we got this". I took in a deep breath to collect myself. I absolutely hated all the attention. How do they do this every day? It's making me uncomfortable. We eventually joined the others again. "Everyone's done their sweep?" everyone nodded. "They should definitely know that we're here now". "Can we have fun now?" Maya asked. I looked toward Savannah and Soobin. They both looked at each other and shrugged "Sure". Beomgyu, Kai and Maya all let out a cheer. "But remember we meet up here again in two hours" everyone nodded. Before they could say anything, Maya had already dragged Beomgyu, Kai and me out on the dance floor. Time to finally let loose.

After 40 minutes or so on the dance floor, I excused myself and went to the bathroom. I washed my hands. "Hey" I jumped a little "Luna, right?". I looked in the mirror and spotted a girl behind me. "Yeah" I dried my hands. She smiled. "You look nice tonight" I raised one of my eyebrows "Can I help you?". She shook her head. I looked her over again and that's when I realised it "Emily right? The one from Maya's class and cheer team?". Emily's face lit up "Yes!". I nodded as I grabbed my bag. "You've been gone from the team for a while" I crossed my arms. "Yeah.. got busy with some family stuff" she seemed uncomfortable. I gave her a half smile and got ready to leave. Emily stepped in front of the door to the bathroom. "Hey, can I ask you something?". I crossed my arms again "Sure".
