Chapter 12

Irene's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night when I feel na medyo mainit yung katabi ko.

I put the back of my hand in Ate's forehead and yes she has a fever.

"Ate wake up" I uttered while tapping her shoulder, "Mmm why?" Ate uttered in her sleepy voice.

"Drink ka nang medicine, nilalagnat ka. Wait for me here kuhaan lang kita" I uttered and she nodded.

I walked out  from her room to go to kitchen. "Ate oh" I uttered once I walked in.

"Ano ba kasing ginawa mo kanina at nilagnat ka?" I asked her. "Baka sa sobrang pagod lang" She uttered

"Gusto mo tawagin ko si Mommy?" I questioned,she shooked her head.

"Hatinggabi na oh, gigisingin mo pa. Wag na pahinga ko nalang ito" She uttered and I nodded.

She positioned her body to lay down. I just watched her to lay down pero sumunod na din akong humiga. We just slept until morning

Imelda's POV

"Pasok ka at kakain na rin, gisingin ko lang yung tatlo" I uttered, "Sige lang, I'll wait here" CJ uttered.

I knocked on Imee's room until Irene opened it. "Kakain na, si Ate mo?" I asked and she open the door more so I can see Imee.

"Nilalagnat" She shortly uttered. "Okay na ba? Dalhan nalang mamaya ng food, Hayaan mo magpahinga" I uttered, she nodded

She walked out and closed the door. "Mauna ka na doon, Ang kuya mo pa" I said. "Sige ma"She uttered.

"Ay boyfriend ka ni Imelda!" I heard Irene yelled, I just chuckled and knocked on Bong's room.

"Sino yung sumigaw,Mommy?" He asked when he opened the door. "Si Irene, nagulat siguro andyan si CJ" I uttered chuckling.

"Kakaiba talaga yung babaeng yun"He uttered laughing. 

We saw the two are already on the dining table. I sat beside CJ and Bonget sat beside Irene.

"Nasaan si Ime?" Bonget asked, "Nilalagnat, dadalhan ko nalang mamaya ng food" Irene uttered and he nodded.

We just eat while having chika, "Kamusta ka na?" Irene suddenly asked while staring at her food.

We looked at each other, She looked up and stared at CJ.

"A-ako?" CJ asked, "Ay hindi, siguro yung multo sa likod mo yung tinatanong ko" Irene rolled her eyes. "Okay naman"CJ uttered and hold my hand

"Tinanong lang kita kung kamusta ka, humawak ka na agad sa kamay ng nanay ko" She uttered.

"Natakot ka ba?" She continue and he nodded, "Well deserve" Irene uttered and eat again.

"May saltik talaga ito sa utak" Bonget whispered laughing, "Oo nagmana kasi sayo"Irene proudly uttered and Bonget looked at her deadly.

"Baka gising na si Ate ma, pagdalhan ko na" Irene uttered and I nodded. "Sama ako"Bonget yelled.

They just prepared the food at umakyat na rin. "Iba rin talaga yung anak mo na yun, mahal" CJ uttered and looked at him.

"Hahaha well yeah, parang ang Ate niya yun eh" I uttered and he hugged me, I just hugged him back and kissed his lips.

Bonget's POV

"Ate oh, food" Irene uttered, "Oh bat may kasama kang unggoy?" Ate asked laughing.

"Grabe ka sakin, Ime" I uttered. "Sumama eh and nga pala andyan si CJ sa baba" Irene uttered.
