The demons were back. They were overtaking her soul. She wasn't in control of her body anymore. She was another person.
She wanted to scream out but her voice was lodged in her throat. She opened her mouth in a silent scream as unimaginable terror ripped through her. She could feel parts of her slip farther and farther away the longer she was here but she didn't know how to find her way out.
"Kendall Selene Warnell, Kendall Selene Warnell," her name was chanted repeatedly by sinister voices and she begged for them to stop, tears traveling down her face.
"Kendall."
A different - and familiar - voice stood out to her. She stilled and slowly turned around.
Kameron was standing a few feet in front of him. For a brief second, she felt relieved at seeing him but his expression was twisted into a deadly scowl that had her taking several steps back.
She tried to say his name but nothing would come out.
"I knew you'd be here," he said with a growl that sent shivers up her spine.
Her eyes widened when fangs started to grow from his mouth and his eyes started to glow eerily.
She tried to run but he roughly grabbed her by her shoulders and a scream ripped from her throat as she felt his fangs pierce the skin of her throat. . .
