Annie's POV
It's our 1st anniversary today. I've been preparing for this day for almost a month already just so everything would be perfect. I also asked Paulina and Pam's help to design our condo kasi feeling ko pag ako lang baka hindi ko matapos ang lahat dahil sa sobrang excitement.
Yes, it's "our condo" now since 7 months have passed by since Mari asked me to move in with her, here. After that, she made sure na I'll feel at home as much as possible.
Actually kung first time mong pumasok sa condo namin, you'll think na it's mine kasi puro akin yung mga gamit na nakakalat tapos most of our recent redesigned parts were my ideas kasi sabi ni Mari, ako na daw bahala pumili ng kulay at design.
Grabi, it felt like only yesterday when Mari entered La Vie Cafe and approach me to thank me for a coffee treat na hindi naman ako yung nagbayad para sa kanya and then, the next thing I knew we've been each other's constants na for two years and lovers for one year.
"Sweetheart, halika ka nga dito! Mamaya dadating na si Ate Lens tapos hindi pa tayo tapos kasi kung saan-saan ka pang sulok pumupunta. Asan ka ba?!" Paulina shouted. Nandun sila ni Pam sa kitchen nag pe-prepare ng lunch namin.
"Sandali lang, Sweetheart! Kinuha ko lang yung gift ko para sa Pangga ko." I shouted in reply kasi andito pa ako sa bedroom, giving my gift some final touches. Actually, this box is just a second gift kay Mari because ako talaga yung main gift. Hihihi, 3 days kaya kami hindi nagkita. So, pinaghandaan ko talaga ito. I'm gonna make sure na hindi makakalakad yun bukas.
"Hoy, ano yang nasa box? Kilala ko ang box na yan, Sweetheart! Don't me! Ikaw haaaa!" Paulina teased me when she saw me holding the Lauvette box and placing it above our living room table.
"Che! Tantanan mo nga ako, Maria Paulina. Anniversary namin ngayon so deserve namin to. At tsaka, three days din na hindi ako nadiligan so just let me be." I snapped back.
"OMG! Too much information, Sweetheart! Kahit baliktad-baliktarin mo ang lahat, Ate pa rin kita so please stop!" Paulina replied while covering her ears as if minor siya. Duh! Parang hindi ko alam na napaka-wild din nila ni Pam kasi one time na drunk dial niya ako while they're doing the deed. Jusko, I was traumatized.
9:24 AM
"Wala pa rin si Mari. Asan na ba siya?" I asked both of them. She should've been here an hour ago.
"Baka na traffic lang, Rese." Pam replied to me while giving me a reassuring smile kasi alam nilang dalawa na worried na ako.
"Sweetheart, papunta na yun, I'm sure. Mahal na mahal ka nu'n kaya! She wouldn't miss this day for anything." Paulina added.
"This is so unlike her kasi, hindi man lang siya nag chat or text or call." I replied while trying to compose myself.
"Sweetheart, halika ka nga dito. Alam mo naman na nag da-drive yung tao galing Tagaytay. She'll be here any second now, you'll see." Paulina said while gesturing me to come sit closer.
Phone rings
"Wait lang, Sweetheart, Love, I have to take this. It's work." Paulina said while quickly leaving the room.
"Okay, Love. Dito lang kami ni Rese." Pam replied while holding my hand for comfort.

Paulina's POV
"ATE LENS! ASAN KA NA BA?! KANINA KA PA DAPAT ANDITO." I loudly whispered. Pumunta muna ako dito sa balcony para hindi ako marinig ni Sweetheart.
