Dawn's POV
"Sayang, if I was earlier sana nabili ko na din yung café and bookstore mo sa ibaba!" She told Martin the owner of the unit that she is buying. She decided to move to Baguio buti na lang Martin one of her org mate in college is selling his property in Baguio.
"Naunahan ka na kasi. Someone already bought "Faded Photographs Café". I was offered a good deal, he won't change the name of the café plus he will retain pa all my staff so I agreed." Paliwanag pa nito.
"That's fine. If you don't mind me asking if he bought the café bakit hindi pati itong apartment?" She asked out of curiosity.
"He have a house not far from here. Their family is one of the richest family here in Baguio. The guys filthy rich though kaso tahimik masyado." Sabi ng kaibigan at natawa naman siya.
"Hahaha grabe ka! It's been what? 10 years since we graduated in college at hanggang ngayon may pagka Marites ka pa din!" Kantiyaw niya dito. Martin is very ma boka talaga despite him being a guy, bolero din kaya maraming ring nalokong babae nung araw.
"At ikaw! 10 years na single ka pa din! Alam mo maraming gwapong doktor din dito sa Baguio malay mo andito na ang the "one" mo."
"I'm here for work not for that Mart." She suddenly felt uneasy because of that topic. She already tried work romance and it didn't work out well for her.
She's a doctor an OB-Gynecologist to be exact. She's dedicated to her job if she can only marry her job she will.
"Sige na, baka mapikon ka pa. Aalis na ako. If you have a problem here like anything at all, I already left all the contacts number naka stick doon sa fridge. Yung sa mga papers naman about sa deed of sale nitong unit na to, I already called my lawyer about it okay? " Bilin pa nito sa kanya. One thing she likes about this place bukod pa sa malaki because it has 3 bedrooms, Martin sold the place fully furnished literal na mga damit at personal na gamit lang niya ang dala niya nung lumipat siya.
"Opo Mr. Ocampo, daig pa tatay kung makapag bilin e. Kelan nga pala alis mo pa punta sa Hawaii?"
"Three days from today." She noticed that he became sad after saying that.
"How about your wife?" She asked. She don't know his story but from what she gathered from the little things he shared to her ay hiwalay na sila ng asawa nito.
"Huh you mean ex-wife! The annullment was granted almost immediately maybe that's the perk of marrying a lawyer napaka bilis ng proseso, but enough of her. I'll be leaving in three days so goodbye Philippines, goodbye ex-wife and say hola Hawaii!" He even had the guts to tell a joke..
Martin is a businessman from a family of businessmen that are based in La Union. He just moved in Baguio when he married Pops because Pops is from here. No wonder he wanted to get out of this place after the separation because she also did the same thing that's why she's here.
"Keep in touch kapag andun ka na a! Baka naman kalimutan mo na kami kapag andun ka na!"
"Sus Dawn! Ikaw pa ba? Isa lang naman ang gusto kong kalimutan kaya ako aalis!" He said joking but I knew he meant that.
"Ay sus! Gusto nga ba?" Kantiyaw naman niya.
His ex-wife Pops attended the same university that they attended. Doon ito nagka kilala at si Martin.
She saw how their lovestory started. She even envy their almost fairytale lovestory that's why she was equally surprised when she learned that they already parted ways. She guess malapit na siyang maniwala na wala talagang forever.
"Ewan ko sa'yo. Final na aalis na ako! Bye Dawn!" Paalam nito at hinalikan siya sa pisngi.
"Bye Martin! Ingat!"

Her work at the hospital won't start until the day after tomorrow so she still have 2 days to settle in.
She suddenly felt hunger and decided to visit the café downstairs to buy something to eat. Hindi pa kasi siya nakakapag grocery ng stocks for her new home.
She went down and went to the café. When she entered the café she was really amazed by the place.
It's really cozy, the book shelves are are aesthetically placed on the wall. Even the counter have bookshelves on the side.
There's also a corkboard on one side which contains polaroid picturesbof what she is guessing pictures of some of the patrons of the cafe. She didn't bother checking it.
She ordered capuccino and a slice of cheesecake. While waiting for her order she decided to just sit down at one of the vacant table.
"One capuccino and cheesecake for Dawn!" She heard the barista called her kaya agad naman siyang tumayo but before she can even take one step ay nabitawan niya ang cellphone niya. Tutungo na sana siya ng biglang may bumangga sa kanyang isang lalaki dahilan upang matapunan siya ng dala nitong kape.
"Oh fvck!" Galit na sabi ng lalaking naka bangga niya. Aba at siya pa ang galit siya na nga ang natapunan ng kape, mabuti na lang at iced coffee ang dala nito kung nagkataong hot coffee napaso sana siya.
"Aba Mister! Ikaw na nga ang naka bangga sa akin, ako na nga ang natapunan ng kape, ikaw pa ang mah ganang magalit! Mag sorry ka!" Galit na ding sabi niya. She's wearing a white shirt at kitang kita ang stain ng kape sa damit niya.
"Miss for your information, hindi kita binangga, bigla kang yumuko kaya bigla din kitang binangga, kaya hindi ko kasalanan yun!"
"Richard pare! Ano bang nangyayari? Nakaka hiya sa mga customer ko, dito ka pa nag su-sungit." Singit naman ng isang gwapong lalaki.
Richard pala pangalan mo ah, tatandaan ko yang pagmumukha mong yan!
"Pare, hindi ko kasalanan nagmamadali ako, e bigla siyang yumuko ayun nabangga ko hindi ko naman kasalanan tapos si-sigawan ako at ako pa daw mag sorry, ano akala mo sa sarili mo Miss? Chicks?" Bastos talaga bunganga ng lalaking to oo!
"Tama na pare, babae yan. Papalitan ko na lang yang kape mo. Miss, I'm Aga, I'm the owner of this place. Pag pasensyahan mo na tong kaibigan ko baka pagod lang kaya mainit ang ulo."
"Sorry din Aga at medyo naka eskandalo yata ako dito. By the way I'm Dawn, I'm from Manila pero ako yung naka bili ng unit sa itaas kaya for sure magiging suki mo ako dito." Sagot niya kay Aga at hindi na pinansin si Richard .
"Talaga ba? Welcome to Baguio then!" Nakangiting pahayag ni Aga habang kinakamayan siya.
"Salamat!"
"Eherm!" -Richard.
"Ahm sige na mauna na ako, I'll just get my order. Nice meeting you Aga!" Tatalikod na sana siya ng marinig niyang may ibinulong si Richard.
"Sungit!" -Richard
"Antipatiko!" Balik bulong niya naman at lumakad na sa counter upang kuhain ang order niya.
Kung mamalasin ka nga naman, una ko pang makikilala dito sa Baguio antipatiko pa!
