Dawn's POV

It's been a week since Dawn started at working at the hospital.

She already met the "queen" of EGH as they called her the head of OB-Gyne Dra. Marissa Enriquez. She's such a sweet woman and Dawn already felt at ease with her already.

She may look intimidating because of her poise and grace but she's a very cool person. She loves to joke around, and right now her favorite thing to do is to tease her and Richard.

The old couple namely Dr. and Dra. Enriquez seems like they wanted to play cupid to the two of them.

"Dawn, why don't we take a break muna? I already asked Richard to take you out for lunch he's on the way na daw." Dra. Enriquez informed her as they finished attending to one of her patient who is seven months pregnant with twins.

So far the older doctor has already introduced her to most of her patient and let them know that she will be taking over in three weeks.

They are now currently reviewing different cases of every patients she has at mukhang doon sila matatagalan.

Idagdag pa that once in a while they are needed at the delivery room.

Despite the busy schedule she and Richard always see each other maliban sa palagi silang sabay pumapasok ng ospital at umuuwi ng sabay, his parents always make sure that theh eat together during lunch.

"Sige po Dra. What about you po? Aren't you coming with us?" She simply asked although she already know the answer.

"No need na hija. I'll go with your tito Emmanuel" yep that also happened. The couple insisted that I call them "Tito and Tita" if they are off duty.

"Hi Mom!" Richard came inside and greeted his Mother.

"Oh! Andito ka na pala. Lakad na kayong dalawa. Be back in two hours. Wag kayong mag madali. Enjoy okay?"  -Dra. Enriquez.

"Hello Dawn!" Bati naman nito sa kanya and she greeted him back. "Okay Mom. Aalis na kami. We'll see you later okay!" Paalam ni Richard sa ina at nag beso dito.

"Tita, alis na po kami." Paalam din niya at nag beso na din dito.

"So where do you want to eat?" Richard asked her when they step inside the elevator.

"I don't know. Why don't you surprise me instead?" She replied and gave him a smile.

"Hmmnn do you have any food allergies?" He asked which made her laugh.

"Why? What's funny?" He added.

"Nothing. It's just ahm... Normal people don't ask that type of question but I guess we don't belong to that category. We are medical practitioners afterall." She answered still lanughing and he laughes with her.

He have nice laugh, Dawn noticed and she couldn't help but to stare at him.

"Hoy! Doktora! Matunaw naman ako niyan!" He even snapped his fingers in front of her face.

"Tse! Ewan ko sa'yo!" Sinungitan na lang niya ito upang maitago ang pagka pahiyang nararamdaman.

One week pa lang Dawn crush mo na?

Tahimik lang sila sa buong byahe pa punta sa restaurant kung saan sila kakain.

Richard brought her to a seafood resto, no wonder he asked her if she has food allergy.

Despite the awkwardness on their way there, their lunch is somewhat pleasant. They talked about random stuffs. She really found Richard amusing. He is a very deep person pala, hindi lang halata kasi palaging nagbibiro.

"Ahmmn Dawn?" Tawag pansin nito sa kaniya habang nag ba-byahe sila pabalik ng ospital.

"Yes Richard?"

"It's Mom and Dad's wedding anniversary next weekend I just want to ask you sana if you would like to come with me?" He shyly ask and he is so cute.

"You mean, you want me to be your date?" She straightforwadly asked him.

"Y-yes. I mean if it's alright with you. Pero kung hindi naman okay lang din." Nag a-alinlangan pa ang ngiting ibinigay nito sa kanya.

"Sure." She gave him a short reply.

"Sure? You mean payag ka?" He asked smiling.

"Yes, I'll be your date. Para yun lang e."

"Thank you Dawn, you don't know how much that means to me." Richard sincerely said and her heart fluttered.

She knew it's too early but she's starting to feel something for him.

"Dra. Nililigawan po ba kayo ni Dr. Enriquez?" Tanong ng matabil niyang sekretarya well technically secretary pa din ito ni Dra. Enriquez but will eventually work for her once matapos ang pag t-train sa kanya ni Dra.

Kasalukuyang wala si Dra. ngayon dahil ngayong gabi na ang anniversary party ng mag-asawa. Kahit sila ni Chard ay maagang mag-a-out bilang off naman talaga nila may kinailangan lang silang ayusin sa ospital dahil wala ang mag asawang Enriquez.

"Bakit mo naman natanong Vanessa?" She asked cooly. Vanessa is a very competent secretary. Wala siyang mai-ireklamo dito, maliban na lang da parang may pagka Marites din ata ito.

"Wala naman po Dra. napapansin ko lang po, araw-araw kayong magkasama. Pasensya na po assumera lang ako talaga. Hehehe"

"Kapag araw-araw magkasama nililigawan agad? Di ba pwedeng friends lang?"

"Sabi ko nga Doc. Sorry na, wag ka ng magalit. Pero sabagay ang alam ko may girlfriend yun si Sir e. Pero parang break na ata, di na napunta dito e. Eh kasi naman hindi naman boto sila Doc Enriquez dun kay Missy, malandi kasi." Pag chi-chismis pa nito sa kanya.

"Bakit naman hindi boto?" She asked curiously at aaminin niya ng marinig niyang may girlfriend si Richard ay may kaunting kirot siyang naramdaman.

"Uy Doktora ah! Interesado kang malaman ah. Crush mo na no?" Panunukso pa nito sa kanya. Syempre crush na din niya si Richard pero syempre kahit pitpitin siya never siyang aamin.

"Tigilan mo nga ako Vannesa, hindi ko crush yun no!"

"Uy! May crush ka?" Nagulat naman sila ng may magsalita mula sa pintuan.

"Chard?! What are you doing here? Aalis na ba tayo? Maaga pa a." Halos mabulol siya dahil dumating ang pinag-uusapan nila.

"No hindi pa, I just drop by here to give you these." Inabot naman nito sa kanya ang isang magandang arrangement ng red roses. "Flowers for my lovely date!" Agad naman niya iyong tinanggap.

"Salamat nag abala ka pa. Anong oras tayo aalis. Kailangan ko pa mag ayos."

"Hindi na kailangan, maganda ka na." Sabi pa nito sabay kindat kaya naman hinampas niya ito sa braso.

"Hahaha! Totoo naman diba Vanessa?"

"Oo naman Doc! Artistahin kaya yan si Dra." Sakay naman ni Vanessa sa biro ni Richard.

"Tigilan niyo na nga akong dalawa! Ikaw naman Dr. Richard Enriquez, tapusin mo na yung ipinapagawa ng Tatay mo para makaalis na tayo." Saway niya sa mga ito.

"Sige na. Sunduin kita by 4PM. 8PM pa naman start ng party so we will have time pa to prepare. Bye na."

"Bye!"

Tiningnan naman niya ang mga bulaklak na hawak, napangiti naman siya ng amuyin iyon.

"Hala hala si Doktora kilig yern?! " Pangangantiyaw pa ni Vanessa.

"Ikaw Vanessa tigilan mo ako kung ayaw mong i-trans vaginal ultrasound kita!"

"Ay no! Doc! Virgin pa ako!"

Luka-luka talaga tong babaeng to.

Napa sulyap na naman siya sa mga bulaklak na hawak niya.

"Aasa na ba ako?"
