"Uy, kinilig siya."

"Nah." He stood up and walked towards me. "Leave now, woman."

"I don't want. I told you I need to ask you something."

He went back to his seat and massaged his temples in frustrations. "Fine. What is it?"

I knelt down in his front of him. "Kumusta na iyong dog mo?" I asked looking up at him with a gleaming eyes.

"Dog?" His brows furrowed.

"Oo, iyong baby golden retriever na kasama-sama mo dati noong dito pa kayo nag-i-stay sa Pilipinas. Miss ko na iyon eh."

"Is he the reason why you were following me all the time?"

"Hoy! Assuming ka. Hindi kita sinusundan ah. Ito talaga. Pero oo na. Iyong aso talaga dahilan kung bakit interesado ako sa 'yo— I mean interesado akong makausap ka kasi gusto ko siyang kumustahin. You know it's been a long time na rin."

"He's in America right now."

"Taray American citizen na. Oh ano magaling na ba mag-English?" His lips pursed while giving me a death glare. "Char! Eh kailan siya uuwi rito? Dapat kasi sinama mo."

"Long travel is stressful for dogs. No one will take care of him too if I brought him here. Besides, dogs aren't allowed in this condo."

"Aww, so sad." My lips tugged down. "Dapat isinama mo pa rin. Willing naman akong alagaan."

"Malay ko ba naman kasi na willing kang alagaan siya."

"Since wala naman iyong dog dito, edi ikaw na lang aalagaan ko. What do you think?"

"Tss." He tilted his head to the side to hide his smile.

"Uy, ngumiti siya."

"I didn't."

"Don't deny it, nakita ko na. Ito naman sinasabi ko pa lang kinikilig ka na, paano pa kaya kapag ginawa ko na?"

"Ano bang trip mo?"

"Ikaw."

"Tss. Magseryoso ka nga."

"Seryoso naman ako sa 'yo."

"Ito naman masyado kang kinikilig."

Kaezar shut his eyes tightly while cursing. He gulped after a few seconds and looked at me intently. I averted my gaze and stood up when I noticed how awkward our position was. Gosh! I was fucking kneeling in between his thigh like I was about to— ugh never mind. He walked towards the fridge and got some bottled water.

"U-Uwi na ako." Sh*t bigla akong tinamaan ng hiya. I can't believe na mayroon ako niyon.
