(1st Person POV. Character: Ludvig)

{Monday morning}

I was feeling quite festive today. Considering two months from today was my hometown's most important holiday of the year, the Augsburger Friedensfest. The national Peace Festival of Augsburg Germany.

The moment I woke up and headed to work, I thought about giving Gracie something to show my appreciation for the past two Fridays, as an early way to start giving. But I doubted she knew what the holiday even was. That still didn't stop me. I knew she had always been a sucker for learning new things.

But what would I give her? I know she loves animals, but she already has three dogs. Maybe... A stuffed animal? But what kind? I know she LOVES food, but what would I make her? I sighed. 💭Who knew trying to get something for a girl would be so hard??💭 I wondered. 💭Probably every guy that a girlfriend...💭 My brain shot back.

Wait, why would I think that?! Gracie's just a friend to me! We're just friends. I don't like her!

💭Or do I...?💭 Now that the question was on my mind, I realized a few things. Gracie was indeed a very attractive woman. She had good looks to go with her athleticism. She was head strong, and truly very confident when it came to her career. Not to mention she was smart, powerful, and talented at other things as well!

I guess while all the other girls were talking about the Jonas Brothers, she was actually paying attention in school, huh?

{Lol, no offense if you like the Jonas Brothers. 😂}

Maybe I really did like her. After all, I did act a bit different with her. Maybe when I act differently when fighting or training when she's around, that's just me trying to impress her. Then again she'd never love the right hand man to the guy who stole her cousins title, right? That would just be a disaster waiting to happen.

Sure me and Ricochet are on good terms, but no way he'd let it slide if he found out I liked his little cousin! Jeez, now I sounded like a teenager again. Obsessing over a girl, how old am I? 💭 You're 32, damnit! Start acting like it! 💭 I scolded myself.

Then I heard the faint sound of voices outside of my locker room. Maybe a few feet away, actually. Walking closer to the door, I listened. Only to hear Gunther talking someone down. I couldn't hear exactly what he was saying through the door, but I heard someone else say: "I don't love him!" Then I heard Gunther say something else before walking away.

After a few seconds I heard the sound of light footsteps approaching my door. Stopping in front, like they were about to knock, but instead placed something in front of the door and quickly ran away.

After I was sure they were gone, I opened the door. Looking down, I saw a box. Which had holes in the sides of it. 💭Weird... Who puts hole in a box?💭 I wondered. As I picked the box up, it moved. I would have dropped it if I hadn't heard a familiar bark come from the inside of it.

Quickly bringing it into my room, and shutting the door, I set the box down on my couch. I saw writing on the side that said 'To: Ludvig'. Without wasting another second, I ripped open the top of the box to see Fluff pop her small head out. Letting out another bark as she saw me.

Picking her up, I saw a note in the crook of her collar. Taking it, and opening it, it read;

Happy Peace day! Take good care of my mini Bingo, okay?

I smiled. So she did know what today was for me. Of course she did, how could I ever expect that she didn't? She was the most knowledgeable person I knew. And she managed to memorize every single holiday that Drew and Sheamus celebrated as well. Of course she knew.
