{Nine Months Later}
Sage was sitting on the couch, his belly protruding much like you'd think.
He's nine months in, the baby was due any minute now.
Things have been great.
They finally told the group about three months in, but a lot of them weren't surprised.
Saying that they suspected something as Rick seemed more protective of the fully capable man.
What's more, is that they were all cool with it. Maggie was very excited and offered to help around.
Glenn paled slightly when she said that she now wants a kid of her own.
It's was...great, amazing to have supportive friends/family.
And the Lori issue?
It was what you expect, she tries and fails. Repeatedly.
Her own boyfriend had broken up with her, and now has there baby girl to himself.
But Rick wouldn't tell him much regarding her.
Not wanting to stress him.
Right now, Sage was on the couch, when he felt something, he dropped the book.
And touched his stomach, he gripped to couch.
"Mom?" Carl asked coming to him.
Sage only groaned.
"I'm gonna get dad and Maggie." Carl said, and he can hear him yelling.
He's losing them!
He's looks another kid!
Another baby!
Men aren't supposed to have kids!
And this just shows it!
"Sage Sage look at me!" He heard Rick.
"I can't lose another." Sage manages.
"You aren't, your in labor." Rick said and carefully helps him up.
"What?" Sage asked.
"Your in labor." He repeats.
When they get to the infirmary, Rick set him on he bed.
"Hey hey, are you in pain?" Rick asked seeing his tears running down his cheeks.
"I-I..." Sage stuttered.
"Hey?" Rick said caressing his hair.
"It's okay...Pete's coming, we'll have this baby and everything will be okay."
"You can't promise that anything can happen I might lose this one-"
"You won't" Rick said.
When Pete came in, he immediately got to work.
"Okay let's deliver this kid shall we?" Pete said with a kind smile.
{2 hours later}
Sage laid in the bed, looking down to the little baby in his arms.
His hoodie was off, his mask gone, though they've been gone nearly three hours prior.
Rick was next to him, he kisses Sage's head.
"You did amazing, you did so great." Rick says.
"He's so cute." Sage says his tiny hand holding his finger.
"He is. You feel okay?" Rick asked.
"Yeah...yeah I'm good." Sage says.
"Thank you, for everything." Sage says looking to Rick.
