As soon as you saw Heizou's message pop up you excused yourself, and walked over to somewhere quieter. When there wasn't many background noise, you called him.
"Hi!" he immediately picked up. "Hey, Heizou. What's up?" you asked curiously. "I'll go through it quickly, so I don't take up your time. Basically, I got a big case out of country not long ago, and I would like you to come with me. The commissioner also offered us an entire mansion to stay at for the time being, since y'know... he's pretty rich. They said I could bring my family out for vacation while I'm at it if I want to, but they're busy right now, so I thought I'd ask you if there's any friends you'd like to invite." the detective went through it all in one go.
"Oh, um..." you were at a lost for words, the information came so fast. "Oh yeah, maximum 15 people can stay there. So 13 other than us." Heizou added. "Well first things first I'd like to go for sure! I think it could be great learning experience." you started. "And... I'll ask my, uh... how many of them are here? One... two... eight friends if they would like to join us." you responded.
"That would be absolutely fine! I'd be happy to get to know more people." he claimed happily. "You saw a few of them before at the bar. Oh, actually... maybe plus one person if he'd be up for it. So nine in total." You suddenly remembered Kazuha, and thought that maybe he would be interested in coming as well.
"You should decide quickly, because our flight is in 3 days. Six in the morning at that. AND almost forgot to add! We are allowed to stay there for a week." he stated. "Alright, uh... I'll ask them all about it, and will text you tonight! Would that be fine?"
"Of course! I'll make an exception for you... I know I said it would be better if you text me at a reasonable time, but just text me whenever you feel like it." you heard him say in a sweet tone from the other end of the line. The way he said it made you blush a tiny bit.
"Sure, haha... I'll get going then. Text you later!" And with that, you hung up.

"So, that is the situation." you finished explaining to everyone. "I know you guys probably have work or school and stuff, so that's why I asked now and not in the last minute. Well, that would be stupid either way..."
"I'll have you know I'm very free, and would gladly join!" Itto stated loudly. "And if I'm free, Shinobu is free. Right?" he looked at the green haired girl. "Most of the time. I can join you too, y/n." she gave you a smile.
"Okay, so that's two out of nine so far. Anyone else?" you asked. "Wait. Excluding you there's only eight of us. Who's the ninth person you have in mind?" Keqing suddenly questioned. "Oh, that's right! I don't know if you guys know him, but he was also in our school. Kazuha. Ring a bell for anyone?"
"That poetic dude! Yeah."
"He was always calm in every situation."
"Wherever he goes... there's positive energy around him."
"I heard he doesn't dislike drinks, so I'm sure he's nice!"
"The one you hanged out a lot with? You guys were pretty close."
"Yup, that's the one. Well it seems like everyone knows him... somewhat. But what about the rest of you, are you coming?" you asked once again. After a bit of thinking their schedules through, everyone agreed to go.
"This is awesome! I bet we will have fun." Yoimiya exclaimed. "Right, but don't forget. Y/n and her detective buddy won't go there for a vacation. They have work to do." Mona uttered, trying to prevent false accusations about the trip.
"Surely after they're done, they will have time to relax a bit with us." Kaeya argued. "That's true, but also let's try not to disturb them while they're working."
"Okay, so now that everyone has agreed, that only leaves one person..."

After you said your goodbyes to everyone, you headed straight back home, quickly took a shower and flopped onto your bed. You took your phone in your hands, prepared to text your friend.

I have a job outside of the country. My 'boss' invited me to go with him, and said that I could also invite friends, bc the guy who needs us to do detective work offered us a mansion to stay at. The flight will leave in three days, 6am in the morning. Trip should last a week. Also, other friends from our high school are coming as well, lemme list them: Yoimiya, Venti, Kaeya, Mona, Childe, Keqing, Itto, Shinobu. Would you like to come as well?

Now that that's settled, that only leaves Heizou. I don't want to text him too late at night, even if he said I could. I'm so glad that everyone is able to come! I actually kinda want them all to meet Heizou... I still remember what he said at the café about how people view him. I hope we'll all have a great time there, regardless of our work.
