Second Chance

18; I woke up late!

     Just like waking up from a lost and long nightmare from a deep sleep,she woke!!!

The luminant white light of the room and the brightest Sun rays seeped into her room like a closed door being opened after forever--but this is similar because Nafeesa waking up from her coma is definitely a new door of blessings opened to all the people related to her,the girl is someone many people's happiness depend on.

"Mu-mm,mu--"she slumped her shoulders as she tried to talk and call out to her mum.Luckily her caretaker came just in time.

"Hello"she said with a gusto and waved the Nafeesa,who just looked at her as if she were just some alien who trespassed planet earth.

Nafeesa's face tighten abit forming a deep scowl,she can't seem to figure out if she's still alive with people she's supposed to be.

Her caretaker dialed the landline and place it by her ear,waiting for a response.She awake,she announced in a high pitched yet so fragile voice,and the line went silent as she drops the call.

Hajiya Fatima seem to find the walk to her daughter's room as really long and never ending as she hastened her pace,this mother is grateful Ya Rabb,she murmurs continuously till she reaches the door of her daughter's room and yanked it open,a huge mosel of happiness stood in her throat,this happiness is not too much for her to swallow but she is not complaining.

Her face began to lit up with euphoria,her smile deepens,and her eyes glistened with the happiest tears,what could this mother ask for,than to show her indebtedness to Allah.Her arms are flew wide open as she walks gently to the bed her daughter was seated on.

A little smile hanged on Nafeesa's lips ,her face brightened up seeing her mother.She nods her heard continuously,—as if telling her mum,it's alright and all the dark days of their lives is over.

The mother sat beside her daughter,and held her little face with both hands as the gently stroke the girl's face looking at her smile,the caretaker has long excused herself leaving the mother - daughter duo to themselves.

"Salaam Alaykum Naaf Naaf",her mum called sweetly.Instantly,her eyes welled up..."mumm mumm"she managed to say,as if learning to speak the first time ever in her life.

She moved closer and hugged her mother,it was really an emotional moment for the duo, "Alhamdulillah,you're fine now" ,she nodded.

The mother called the doctor who has been handling Nafeesa's case,he told her he'll check up on her daughter.

After the doctor's arrival,he checked up on her and everything was quite right and wrote some prescription for her.The next thing was he check her power weight and she was able to stand,sit,and walk on herself.

While Nafeesa was set to have a bath,her mum entered the kitchen to make something for the poor girl,keeping in Mind to give her husband yet the greatest surprise of his life.

She brought out new set of clothes and praying mat for her daughter.Since it was almost Zuhr,she performed ablution and came to her daughter room to pray together.

Nafeesa was dress in an Abaya,it warmed her mother's heart to see her not wearing the gloomy hospital gown that represents almost life and death.
