Girl's Day

It's been two weeks since I started working for Black Hat, and things have been great!

As for the others, Black Hat is treating Dr. Flug more like a person, Dr. Flug is now being a little more awkward around me but that's nothing new, 5.0.5 is still loveable, and I've actually started a friendship with Demencia.

It sounds crazy, I know, but as long as you don't make her angry, she's a pretty cool person.

And besides, we destroy things together.

Anyway, Demencia said she wanted to have a girls day, since we're the only ones in the house, and Black Hat gave us both "days off."

I felt bad for Dr. Flug, but he said it was OK.

I had just finished getting ready and I went to Demencia's room.

"Heya Y/N, what do you want to do today?"

"Honestly, I'll do anything. You pick."

"Well if you insist..."

She went under her desk and brought out a WII.

"We're gonna do a little Just Dance."

"Oh it's on. Years of competitive dance, dont fail me now."

Let's get one thing straight. I would never voluntarily be a dancer. It was my mom's idea.

Of course, because of my competitive spirit and confidence, I always stole the show. I eventually stopped as a teen when I entered a science fair and got first place.

She put in the game and picked a song. It was Toxic by Brittany Spears.

"I want to see what you got Y/N."

"Bring it."

The song started and I began to dance, hitting perfect every time.

I swear I felt another pair of eyes watching me from the window on the door, but I shrugged it off.

I continued hitting the moves with ease and then the song ended.

"Wow Y/N. You're better than I thought!"

We both giggled and did a few more songs, taking turns and dancing together.

"Black Hat would like my moves."

"Demencia, why are you obsessed over him?"

"He's just so perfect! Wait, are you asking that because you want to take him from me?! BECAUSE IF YOU DO--"

"NOOO, DEMENCIA, I LIKE D- uh- I mean- I DONT like anyone that way."

I almost slipped. It looked like she had a glimpse of recognition in her eyes.

"Ohhhh sure you do Y/N. Here, why don't we go tell D-"

I immideately covered her mouth and glared at her.

"Don't. You. Dare."

She licked my hand.

"Ewwww, why'd you do that?"

She shrugged and took out the game.

"We'll since you're so good at dancing, I want to see how good you sing."

"Ugh, don't make me sing solo."

"I wasn't planning on it. We're gonna sing Bad Guy by Billie Eilish."

(Sorry this was literally the only song I could think of, and since everyone knows it, i wont put the lyrics)

The song ended and I high-fived Demencia.

"THAT WAS SO FUN Y/N!"

"I know right!! I'm getting a little hungry. Want to get some food?"

"Sure."

I heard someone move from outside the door as I opened it. Demencia and I left her room and I saw Dr. Flug walking the opposite way.

(Dr. Flug POV)
I really hope they didn't see me. Or hear me for that matter.

I wanted to know more about Y/N, but I'm too shy to ask her in person.

And if she can manage a friendship with Demencia, she can do anything.

That's what I love about her. She is such an amazing person.

Talk about talent! Not only is she a genius inventor, she can also sing and dance!

I want to tell her how I feel, and how I have felt for the past few weeks since she walked in.

I went into the lab and began doing some research.

(Y/N POV)
Since it was later than we thought, we made a pizza for everyone in the house.

There may or may not have been a food fight.

Thankfully, we got most of it cleaned up before Black Hat came in.

Anyway, we ate our pizza, which was quite good, and then we watched (favorite movie).

It was now about 9 pm and I was getting tired.

I said goodnight to Demencia, and thought it would be nice to check on Dr. Flug to see how his day went.

I knocked on his door, "come in", he said.

As I entered, I saw him crumple a paper and throw it in the trash.

The trash can was full of crumpled pieces of paper.

He turned to me. "Oh! H-hey Y/N! How was your day with Demencia?"

"It was really fun! How was your day in the lab? I hope you weren't too stressed."

"Yeah it was fine. Boss didn't give me any more than normal. He'll probably give us double tomorrow though since you were off today."

"I doubt it. He should be glad that we didn't light the place on fire."

"Heh, I'm assuming that was Demencia's idea?"

"Actually, it was one of mine. I thought it would be funny, but she didn't want all of Black Hat's portraits to go up in flames. Shes obsessed over him."

"She sure is..."

There was a few second silence. It wasn't awkward though, it was peaceful.

"We'll, I'll leave you with whatever you're doing with those papers."

He blushed and glanced at the trashcan.

"Sleep well Flug."

"Y-you too Y-Y/N."

I smiled at him and closed the door, going to sleep a few minutes later.
