We are not together - wither husbands + pearl annoying them

Sausage pov:

It's a nice day. Perfect time to comb some of the blood sheep.

 Their red wool was fluffy and ticklish around my fingers.

I took out a brush and started combing it. A lot of wool came out of the sheep. A lot.

It's an amazing task for a normal Saturday. I don't think we expect anyone here today. The alliance has already discussed next weeks plans and this means, that I have a nice relaxing day.

Then I heard wings flapping. I looked around and saw pearl landing behind me.

Pearl, my good friend. We've been in the wither rose alliance together and she's also the queen of the kingdom next door.

"Hello sausage" she told me. Her green dress flying with the wind slightly. "How are you?"

"Why hello pearl. I'm good. Just combing the blood sheep as you see. How are you?" I told her full of enthusiasm.

"I'm good too. Needed to farm more plants then normally. But all in all I'm good."

I hummed, Continuing to pet the red sheep. Pearl went over to me and petted it too.

I handed her another brush. She smiled and gladly took it.

"So how's it here ?" She asked.

If I didn't know her better I would think she was genuinely interested. Now don't get me wrong. Pearls an amazing person. But she doesn't just turn up at places and starts Small talks. At least she never did with me. Keep In mind though, I'm her childhood friend.

"Don't run around the main reason you're here. What do you want?" I smiled at her. It was nice having friends over, but she obviously wanted something.

"Well am I not aloud to want to see my fiend ?" She mocked being hurt.

"Of course you are, but we both know you want something" I said giving her a knowing glance.

"Fine... how are you and Fwhip doing ?" She grinned

"Gosh pearl. We've talked about this." I signed. We have this conversation once a week.

She laughed.

"Did gem send you here ?" I asked.

"Perhaps" she grinned

"We are not together." I told her for the maybe 50th time this year.

"But you're all flirty around each other" she whined.

"We are ?" I haven't noticed that like ever.

"Yes you are? Didn't you notice that? You would always flirt with each other. Cmon I bet you guys are secretly dating. Gem suspects the same thing, just so you know."

"What gem thinks i and Fwhip are together ?"

"Yes. Also she went full on sister mode. Guess why I'm here" she told me rolling here eyes as she shoved some of her hair out of her face

"Oof. Gem in sister mode is not fun to mess with. Also I did ask you if gem sent you ?" I told her. There was only one time I angered gem and she went sibling mode. That was horrifying.

"So you're worried that gem will come for you?" Pearl asked teasing me. I nodded. She was scary. So was pearl but that is just a totally different story.

"So you guys are together! Why else would you be scared ?! I knew it!" She screamed. The sheep got alarmed and ran. I sighed

"We are not. Gems just scary!" I said. She didn't pay me a look, she just took off said a quick goodbye and left. At least I have peace now.
