Chapter 4: Bundle of Roses

Thud!

Y/n grunts as she hits the mat

"That hit was pretty weak." Y/n says taughting Keigo

Keigo smirks at her and watches as she gets up off the mat

Y/N stepped back, balancing her weight on her left foot, and threw her right fist out in a curved punch at his temple. Turning ninety degrees to the side, he brought his right forearm up to counter the blow, formed a fist with his left, and threw it at her outstretched jaw. Luckily she ducked down. Keigo not seeing that Y/N had manifested a staff into her right hand, she swiped his feet from underneath him.

Smirking at him as he falls onto the mat.

Keigo is now on his back as Y/N is pointing the staff at his face.

"No fair baby bird," he says as he looks up at her and lays the back of his head on the mat, accepting defeat, "you always cheat with your quirk."

Y/N grabs his hand to help him up off the mat.

"Maybe we should call it a day, huh?" Y/N giggled

"Yea good idea" Hawks say as he is trying to catch his breath and decides to sit down

Y/N hands him his water bottle as she takes a seat next to him in the training room, their backs leaning against the wall.

"Damn I am going to have a few bumps and bruises." Keigo says as he rubs his head

"Told you I'd kick your butt," Y/N says as she takes a sip of her water

Keigo takes a look at her and lays his head on her shoulder. Y/N smiles as she lays her head onto his.

"I missed this," Keigo thought to himself

"I really missed sparring with you." Y/N says almost in a whisper

Keigo blushing as she said that

"HELLLLO! HAWKS!" a girl with bunny ears shouts

Y/N and Hawks are startled; they both turn their heads at the door.

"Mirko! Hey! I didn't plan to see you here today." Hawks says as he starts to stand up lending Y/N a hand to help her up

"I was hopping around and decided to come and bother! Who's the hot chick?" Mirko says pointing at Y/N

Y/N lets out a giggle "Whats up! I'm Y/N," as she extends her hand out to shake, Mirko gives her a warm embrace

"Finally someone new to hang out with! Mnt Lady just isn't any fun!" Mirko shouts, "Remember Hawks, when you and Mnt Lady were a thing. Ugh what a mess that was!"

"Mnt Lady, huh? Yea that sounds like his type" Y/n teases

"Why did he lie and say he wasn't in a relationship before?" y/n thinks 

"Well Mirko, It was so nice to meet you but to be honest, I just want to relax before we go out on patrol. I am beat!" Y/N says, "Here I will give you my phone number and we can hang out sometime."

"You best believe I will be texting you to hang out!" Mirko says as Y/N is by the door

"Yes I would love to hang out! See you guys later!" Y/n says as she walks out

Mirko gives Hawks a smirk, "So...you guys a thing or what?"

Hawks face starts to turn red

"She's a friend, Mirko." Hawks says as he rolls his eyes at her. "Now I would like to relax before I go out on patrol tonight. What did you really need?"
