Chapter 22: The Tree

"JOIN ME AS WE SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BIRTHDAY GIRL, BURNIN!" The DJ shouts in the mic. Everyone sings in unison happy birthday to her.

"I am getting tired. I wonder where Hawks went. I haven't seen him in 45 minutes." Y/N thinks looking around the crowd for Hawks

"A WORD FROM OUR NO.2 HERO!" The DJ yells

"Oh no." Y/N panics and looks up see a very tipsy Hawks behind the DJ setup

"Mirko! We need to grab him before he says something stupid" Y/n s gasped

Y/N tries to make her way through the crowd to stop Hawks, He sees her and waves.

"I just want to say Happy Birthday to Burnin'!" The crowd cheers, "But more importantly! Let me raise a toast to the girl I love most in the whole world..." Hawks says

"Please don't say my name, Please don't say my name"

"Y/N!" Hawks shouts.

The crowd looks at Y/n and starts cheering for them.

Y/n goes up to Burnin apologizing for Hawks action, Burnin' not really caring as she loved how her party turned out.

Y/n takes a tipsy Hawks home, "Keigo, I can't believe you did that!" Y/N sighs trying to get him to stay in bed

"Y/N, come lay by me" Keigo says, grabbing her hand.

"I'll cuddle you but you are too drunk so don't try anything." Y/N warns as she slips into something more comfortable since they made it back from the party. She lays next to him trying to get him to sleep or sober up.

"I just had to tell everyone that I love you! Isn't that crazy! I finally have the balls to say things like this to you!" Keigo gushes

Keigo gets quiet.

Y/N looks over to see him out cold and snoring.

"You are crazy," Y/n sighs as she leans in giving him a kiss on the cheek,

Y/N wakes up from the sun creeping in the bedroom. She gets up and walks into the kitchen making coffee for her and Hawks. She flips on the radio to play as background noise, the song that was playing made her think of when she first met Keigo.

"Y/N, I want you to meet someone. He has a similar quirk as you." The President of the Hero Commission said, "He will be living with you. Here. so I want you to be nice to him, okay?

"Okay." a young Y/N says a young boy walks in with a pair of red wings., "Oh my gosh! He has wings just like me!" Y/N gushes

"Hi! I'm Y/N!" Y/N says with a big grin on her face

"I'm...I'm Keigo." A shy young Keigo says

Keigo extends his hand out to shake Y/N hand with his head down and eyes closed. Y/N gives him a warm embrace. Keigo smiles and hugs her back.

"Keigo, Y/N, I want you guys to get along okay? Can you do that for us?" The President asks

"Yes Ma'am!" Y/n says, "Your wings are so cool! Red is my favorite color!"

Keigo smiles at Y/N and shows her his quirk. Keigo can telekinetically control the movement and nature of each individual feather with ease.

"Whoa! That is so cool! I can only use my wings to fly but I can make things come out of my hands, Watch!" Y/N shows Keigo her quirk, trying to throw a rock across the room, "I'm still trying to make a rock." She says shyly
