Chapter 14: Speak in Code

"Goodmorning Hawks!" Y/N says as she walks into his apartment with coffee for him in her hands

Hawks walks out of his bedroom with his shirt off and he's wearing gray sweatpants making Y/N stare

"I guess I didn't realize how lean he got."

A flashback of the night y/n kissing Keigo and putting her hands under his shirt comes to mind

"Why am I thinking about a dream right now?"

Another flashback pops into her mind, "You're driving me crazy, baby bird"

"Goodmorning Baby bird, thanks for the coffee." He says with a smile, "Like what you see?"

Y/N rolls her eyes and smiles at him, "I wanted to come hang out with my favorite person in the world!"

"Aw sorry, I have some patrolling to do soon. Maybe later tonight?" Hawks says

"Can't. Dabi finally messaged me an address and time to meet him. So now I have a date with the devil." Y/n says with a smile

Dabi messaged her after new years eve to meet

Hawks feeling worried

"Please don't call it a date" Hawks says

"I love how riled up you get." Y/n poking fun of him

"I'm coming," Hawks says in a serious voice, "No way I'm letting you meet a member of the League alone."

"Keigo, I will be fine. Dabi barely trusts us now, if this is how we convince him that we are on their side then we have to do whatever it takes."

"Fine but send me the address, just in case. I don't want you to get hurt." Keigo says.

Y/N takes a sip of her coffee, "Duh! And you seriously think Dabi can take me one on one?" she teases

Keigo rolls his eyes, "I just want you to be safe, ya know? I can't be losing my most valuable employee." Keigo teases

"Yeah, I am pretty valuable." Y/N smiles, "Well I'll let you get ready for your patrol! Have fun, Hawks."

"Well I guess I can go get breakfast." Y/N whispers as she walks down the street.

As she approaches a food truck to eat, she grabs her food and decides to go out on a walk and explore the city

"I can't believe we were going to kiss that night. Why did Dabi have to ruin it? I have barely seen Keigo since then. Maybe he is just super busy with Hero work. I hope he didn't regret trying to make a move." Y/n rants in her mind

Y/N hears horns honking, then a loud crash. She turns around and see the windows from buildings and cars evaporating

"What the Fu-" she says with her mouth full, she throws her food in the trash and flies towards the crash, helping the people out of the car

"Are you okay?" Y/n says to the woman

"I'm fine. I don't know what happened" the woman says, She helps her onto the sidewalk

"I have received a divine revelation from the universe!" A voice yells, "Run! Flee this place citizens! The corners of Pluto's mouth twist with loneliness! The hour of your demise is nigh at hand."

Y/N looks up and sees a man yelling from the sky

"What the hell is this guy doing" Y/n says

Y/N gets the other people out of the vehicles as the man in the sky still rants, "The universe has whispered into my brain. The wicked stars are colluded. They must be stopped at once!"
