Chapter 31: Merry-Go-Round

"You have a meeting with another agency?" Y/N asks Hawks

"Yeah, You don't need to come if you don't want to." Hawks says as he gets ready

"No, it's fine. I should see other people, it might trigger a memory." Y/N says

Y/N and Hawks walk towards the elevator. She presses the button up not realizing it was a muscle memory for her

"She remembered it was on top floor?"

Ding!

The elevator doors open and Kamui and Mt. Lady are in the elevator.

"Fuck. They were supposed to be upstairs already." Hawks thinks

"Moonstar. I'm glad you're okay!" Kamui says,

Y/N smiles at him, "I'm sorry...What was your name again?"

Hawks tries not to laugh, "Sorry, Kamui. During the battle she lost her memory." Hawks explains, "We are trying to trigger anything that can help restore it."

"Oh, I'm Kamui. A friend of yours." Kamui says, holding out his hand to shake. Y/N grabs it and smiles at him

"And you are?" Y/N asks, turning towards Mt. Lady

"Annoyed." Mt. Lady says

Ding!

The elevator doors open and Mt. Lady gets out first, shoulder checking Y/N

"I'm sorry. Do we have a problem?" Y/N snapped

"I don't know, do we?" Mt. Lady says slowly growing bigger

"Why did you come back? You came back and ruined everything." A flashback on a conversation with Mt. Lady pops into Y/N head

Without thinking Y/n manifest a staff into her hand

"Alright, Ladies!" Hawks says separating them, "We have to be civil. Mt. Lady, she doesn't remember! so cool it." Mt. lady walks away and heads towards Kamui.

"Holy shit, I just manifested a staff in my hands!" Y/N thinks

Hawks catches Y/N smiling to herself as she looks at the staff.

Hawks walks Y/N over to her desk and she sees an old newspaper on it.

Moonstar vs. Mt Lady Catfight over Hawks

Y/N grabs it and shows Hawks.

"Ohhh...so it's your fault she hates me," Y/N teases

After the Agency meeting Y/N and Hawks head to the training room to work on her combat skills and her cosmic energy quirk.

"So what's the deal with you and Mt.Lady?" Y/N asks as they take a water break

"It is super complicated," Hawks says,

"Come on, I thought you would tell me everything?" Y/n says poking at his chest making him laugh

"Okay, I'll just give you a brief summary of what happened between us." Hawks says

"We were dating but we broke up." Hawks explains," and we thought we could work it out but that didn't work because I fell for someone else."

"Someone else?" Y/n thinks

"Okay well what was up with that newspaper article? I didn't get a chance to read it." Y/N says

"Well you were on a date and she came up to you..." Hawks hesitates

"That bitch punched me!" Y/N recalls, "I remember that now. I was on a date with some guy with a man bun." Y/N says
