Sapnap stood in the kitchen, making himself and his boyfriend some lunch. Nothing fancy, just simple sandwiches with some chips. He pulled down to glasses from the cupboard and filled his with water, and Karl's with milk.
As Sapnap placed the plates and cups on the island were they usually sat to eat, he was met with a tired Karl. Not only tired, but little. Karl stood there, pacifier in mouth, blanket in arms rubbing his eyes.
"Well good morning my little prince." Sapnap said softly with a smile, walking over to pick the brunette up.
"Mm." Karl hummed, resting his head on Sapnap's shoulder.
"Are you hungry little one? If so I made us lunch." Karl nodded and looked at the plate and smiled, almost dropping his paci.
Sapnap set Karl down in his chair, kissing his head as he moved his plate next to the brunette. Karl got super clingy when little, and would throw a fit if Sapnap wasn't always next to him.
"Fank you fo wunch dada." Karl yawned, picking up his sandwich and taking a bite with a smile.
"Of course baby. Anything for you." Sapnap smiled, also beginning to eat his food.
Karl gently swung his feet as he ate, humming a tone to himself. Sapnap smiled at pat his head as he walked to put his plate and cup in the sink. Karl let out a soft whine, not approving the distance between himself and the ravenette.
"Hold on baby, I gotta put this stuff away and clean up the counter." Sapnap explained, quickly looking to the little.
Karl groaned in annoyance and huffed. Since he had finished his plate and milk, he pushed them both away aggressively. The plate hit the cup and made it fall to the floor, shattering.
The loud noise made Karl yelp and jump slightly in his seat. Sapnap quickly spun around and looking to see what had happened. Glad to see the brunette wasn't hurt, but annoyed at the additude that caused the mess.
"Hunny. You realize that now I have to clean with up, so I have to be far away longer. Right?" Sapnap said, as calmly as he could.
Karl didn't respond, just looked down in shame, his pacifier finding it's way back into his mouth. Sapnap sighed and grabbed the broom as well as some cleaning solution.
Karl attempted to get out of his seat, but Sapnap stopped him with a stern look. The little stayed in his seat. He knew he had anger his care giver with his poor behavior, and he felt tears prick his eyes slightly.
Sapnap swept up the glass, dumping it in the recycling bin and putting the broom away. He then got down on the floor and cleaned the drops of milk off the floor, as well as any smaller shards if glass.
Once he finished, he stood, disposing the paper towel into the garbage bin.
"Come here baby." Sapnap sighed, walking over and going to pick up his little, but was gently pushed away.
"Nuh uh..no touch.." Karl whimpered.
He figured that Sapnap was angry with him, and that he was only being nice for Karl's sake. And he didn't want that. He felt bad for the attitude and mess he had made. And he definitely hated he angered the ravenette.
"Hey, baby look at me." Sapnap cooed.
"I'm not mad at you hunny. It's ok, it was an accident. I know you didn't mean for the cup to break." Sapnap explained, crouching in front of the other male.
Karl hugged his blanket closer to his chest and looked away from ravenette. He let his tears slip from his eyes. Sapnap's heart broke.
"Oh baby, hunny come here." Sapnap cooed, Karl letting the taller pick him up.
"Oh baby don't cry. I'm not mad at you sweet boy, you're ok." Sapnap said softly, peppering kisses all over the brunette's face.
"I sowwy I bwoke da cup.." Karl mumbled softly, nuzzling his face into Sapnap's neck.
"Baby it's ok. It was an accident. Here, let's go cuddle up on the couch and watch some movies yea?" Karl nodded.
Sapnap carried the boy to the couch, sitting down with the brunette in his lap. He gently rubbed his back and turned on The Nightmare Before Christmas, as it was Karl's favorite.
"I love you baby." Sapnap whispered, kissing Karl's cheek.
"I wuv you too." Karl mumbled, letting himself get lost in the movie.
