Estelle's POV.

I was sat in the back of Spanish class, deep in thought.

I had no energy to come to school but Luke forced me to.

After the information given by the police, I've been thinking more.

"We have been on the search for your mother for quite some time actually." The big, bulky police man says.

"Why?" I say, sort of confused.

"From our research, turns out her name isn't what it actually is. Her real name is Marion Bell. Her medical records show that she's a heavy drinker-"

You don't need any records to prove that she's a heavy drinker. You can just tell by simply glancing at her.

"-her medical records also show that she is... Sort of, insane?"

What?

"Can you elaborate?" Luke says beside me.

"When she was 14 she was admitted into a psychiatric hospital-"

"Why?" I quickly cut him off which causes Luke to place his hand on my thigh. I don't think that's going to help.

"Her parents put her in there actually. But we don't have any information as to why they did."

I nod quickly, indicating that was all I wanted to hear. I wanted leave. I wanted to leave this room.

I stand up as Luke stands up. He thanks the police officer and shakes his hand, turning back to me and looks deeply into my eyes.

As soon as we get into his car I feel his body crash into mine. His arms wrap tightly around my body as I hug his waist, just wanting to be close to him as possible.

"I'm sorry." He whispers.

"I- why?"

"I don't know baby girl," he says.

"But what I do know is that I'm going to be here for you," he continues.

"And i'm never going to leave."

I hope he doesn't.

A/n: my chapters keep getting boring and boring. I apologize for that.

I'm not updating according to schedule anymore bc I have so many things to do bc of school and it's so fucking stressful.
