Lunch

Elijah Pov 

As promised,  Amanda and I reached the specific Italian hotel that she insisted on coming for lunch and said she had everything planned for us for our lunch. I gave my car keys to the valet to park, went inside and were greeted by the manager who was waiting for us. 

"Ms.DeLuca! How are you doing today ma'am?" He said taking her hand for a handshake 

"Very well Mr. Kim. Is everything I asked for is ready?" She asked him 

"Oh! yes Miss. You and your date shouldn't be worried about anything." He said but the date part made me cringe. The manager Mr. Kim asked us to follow him to our assigned tables which on the other side of the restaurant which was outside on the balcony. 

"You went your way out for this so called lunch Ms. DeLuca." I said 

"You said one Elijah and I had to do my best." She replied 

Once we got seated a waiter came in immediately about poured us wine and took our orders. 

"So Elijah tell me about you?" She asked 

"I don't think there is anything you don't know about me Amanda. I sure you have done your part of research about me." I said with my eyebrow raised 

"You are right about that. But I would still like to more about you maybe there are something I don't know about you. How about we start from there?" She said 

"Like what Amanda? Please enlighten me?" I replied 

"I don't know maybe about if you are a part of Mafia because I heard that Mr. Johnson was a part of Mafia infact a very feared one. How about that?" She questioned 

"Yes, my uncle was a part of Mafia as you said he was the most feared one but he resigned from being that person so we are not part of Mafia." I replied very coolly. 

"How is that possible? I mean it's always said that once you're part of mafia there is no going back you'll always be a part of it." She asked curiously

"That's the thing Amanda that would be problem if my uncle was some regular Mafia but he wasn't so it was easy for him to come out and now I think someone else is ruling the Mafia now. What's his name again?" I said innocently 

"Lucifer" She said 

"Lucifer exactly. Amanda you seem to know about Mafia more than you should?" I said with curiosity in my eyes.

"Oh! you don't know me completely then Elijah." She said with smirk 

"Elijah you are the top business man doesn't it mean that you know how Lucifer looks have you met him before?" She questioned 

"You are right we are on the top but I have never met him. It's said that the one's who saw him never lived to tell the tale. But we have a meeting with him this weekend. But we don't no if we will meet him. It's his subordinates that do the meetings on behalf of him." I said as if knew nothing about all this. 

"Oh! is it! Do you think it's just him who rules the Mafia or is a group of people?" She questioned 

"Oh about that I think I heard a rumor say that it is a group of people but no one know who they are." I said 

"Then how do people contact him? He seems to be pretty guarded with his identity. I mean it could me anyone right?" She said thinking 

"You are right he is very guarded so are his people. It is said that Lucifer has eyes everywhere and you'll get a letter with a red rose if you catch his eyes and that something you should be afraid off." I said looking into her eyes.

"And why is that?" She replied 

"It means that you have shorten your life span." I replied with warning 

"You seem to know about him a lot Elijah." She said 

 "Maybe I do or Maybe not. You should discover it." I replied 

"Maybe I will one day." She said and I smiled looking at her

That when I got the call from Ella which made me smile 

"Yes love" I said and saw Amanda's eyes with fury 

"Oh I will be leaving shortly. Between have you finished eating your lunch if not I bring something for you?" I said 

"Alright I will bring you food to eat. Alright Love. See you in a while." I said and cut the call 

"Amanda I think we should be leave I have meeting that I need to attend and other business to do." I said getting up from my place 

"Sure just leave me at the cross roads please." she said and we left the place I dropped her where she requested and left to buy food for Ella and complete my meeting. 

While driving Xavier called me

"How did it go?" he said 

"The way we wanted. She will be coming to the club this weekend." I said 

"Well the fish took the bait." He said 

"Weekend it is then" We said at the same time
