The next morning

I wake up on Diane's chest, still listening to her heart beat. Feeling it weak I immediately wake her up
"Mhm..baby what's wrong?"
"Let me take you to the hospital" I say with concern in my voice
"There's no need t-"
I place my index finger on her lips
"If you..let me take you to the hospital.." I go near her ear
"I'll let you fuck me in all the ways you want... Mommy" knowing this will convince her, I blush hard.
"Okay baby...take me to the hospital.."
"Thank you my love" I kissed her lips softly and when we break the kiss she sighs
"Everything for you little girl" she smiles and we both get up. I help her to reach the bathroom because she is still weak.
"Thank you y/n..."
"Do you want some breakfast?"
"There are already some pancakes in the fridge, set up the table please...I can come downstairs myself"
"Are you sure?"
"Of course baby" she cooes me
I nod slightly and I kiss her on the cheek, and I immediately run downstairs preparing everything. When everything is ready I call her
"Diane! It's ready.."
I hear her footsteps down the stairs and when I see her stumbling at the end of the stairs I immediately run to her to catch her
"Diane...feeling dizzy?"
"A little...I don't know honey.."
"Let's eat real fast and then I'll drive you to the hospital for a check up, in case of some...internal bleeding? Maybe some pieces of the bullet are inside you and-" she kisses me on the lips and pushes me against the wall
"You may be right..." She bites her lip
"Maybe I'm dying..."
"Don't talk like that babe...you'll be fine" I say caressing her cheek
We go in the kitchen and I sat my pancakes fast.
"I'll take you your clothes down here honey, be right back" I run upstairs and in a couple of minutes I was back to her
"awwww baby...thank you very much"
After her words she whines
"Diane?"
"It aches..."
I help her to dress up and after she finishes to eat I drive her to the hospital. The drive was quiet, but it was a comforting silence actually, her hand on my leg squeezing it and smiling at me, while she looks at me with a love gaze.
We arrive at the entrance of the hospital and I help her in.
After a short time of wait in the waiting room, a doctor take her inside a room and tell me to wait outside and I wait for her concerned.
If I lose her, I won't be able to go on anymore.. I started to cry, hands on my head covering my red face.
Then someone kneels in front of me and I look up, a nurse I guess
"What's wrong? Why are you crying like this?"
"I-i my g-girlfriend is inside for a check up because my mother shotted her yesterday...and if I lose her? I won't be able to live anymore... not without her.."
The nurse hugs me
"She'll be alright... I'm sure..the doctors in this hospital are amazing! They save everyone.."
I nod and leave my head on her shoulder while I continue to cry
Then I see the doctor coming to me
"H-how is she?" I ask as I stand up while the nurse looks concerned
"She's alright, I checked her, no last pieces of the bullet inside the wound, I have sewn her wound so it will heal faster very soon and gave her some painkillers for the pain. She'll feel numb after taking those...and dizzy..."
I nod and hug him
"Thanks thanks really..can I see her?"
"Of course! She's dressing up in the room 34, nurse can you take this girl there? Thanks" he shakes my hand and leaves
The nurse takes me to Diane's room and she hugs me as I enter
"Hope the best for you.."
I smile and then I run to Diane hugging her
"Hey hey hey calm down... The wound baby.." and she sits on the edge of the bed as I kneel in front of her
"Hm...have you cried? My poor sweet girl" she kisses my forehead
"I cried... thinking of losing you hits me too hard"
She laughs softly and then she kisses me
"Do you want..to take me home and cuddle?"
"Yesss!" I smile and take her hand

At home

"honey?"
"What is it Diane?" I run into the living room
"I'm cold...a blanket and my sweet girlfriend here please?" She looks at me.with puppy eyes
"Coming ma'am."
I follow her demands and I run to her with a blanket
"Here" I hug her and she hugs me back
"Hmm better"
I smile and she let out a chuckle
Then she frowns her brows
"whats wrong?"
"The effect of the pills...it is leaving.."
"Shh baby where are those pills?"
"Not now...after lunch.."
"are you sure?"
She nods and replaces her head on my chest
"so..soft~"
I blush and kiss her head
"Hmm.."
After some time we both fall asleep
